Third POV:

Y/N L/N had seen a lot since he started the high school division of Totsuki. First, there was the transfer student, Yukihira, who caused an uproar at the entrance ceremony. Then there was the fact that Azami Nakiri took control over the school and began taking over the food world, resulting in the team Shokugeki that resulted in Erina Nakiri becoming the headmaster. Most recently was the BLUE competition that pitted the Totsuki chefs against the noir chefs. Erina had also won that competition, resulting in her being crowned the greatest chef in the world. Y/N had never been involved in those things, luckily.  However, despite all that had happened the past year and a half, he had never expected this. As he was walking to a kitchen to practice cooking, a bag was put over his head. After he was taken to a car and driven somewhere, the bag was removed, revealing Senzaemon Nakiri, Erina's grandfather. The man was as intimidating as ever. Y/N continued to sit in quiet, waiting for the old man to speak.

After a few minutes, the man cleared his throat. His glare seemed to darken, "So, you're name is Y/N L/N, correct?" The boy nodded, a bit puzzled as to why the old man even knew who he was. Senzaemon continued, "I see. You see, I've been keeping tabs on my beloved granddaughter since she's taken control of the school. Of course, this is just to make sure that she's safe, especially since the incident with the noir chefs." Y/N continued to nod. Everything the man said made sense. He did strike him as a protective grandfather. He accepted what the old man was saying until he yelled, "And then I hear that you proclaim your love to her?!?!!?" Y/N jumped up in shock. 'What the hell is he talking about, oh.... Right. My little joke. Guess one of his men heard it.' Before he could speak up, the door was slammed open. Y/N turned and was shocked to see Azami and Mana Nakiri, the parents of Erina. The two of them walked passed him and sat next to Senzaemon. The air grew even tenser. Mana looked at him, giving him the same stare that one would give a cockroach, "So, you're the little shit that thinks they're good enough to date my daughter." Azami raised his hand to separate the two of them, "Now Mana. Let's calm down. We should judge the boy after we hear what he has to say for himself. Perhaps he's mentally insane and actually believes that he can date Erina." The man smirked as he looked at the boy with his dark, soulless eyes.

Y/N sighed, "Um, may I explain something?" The three Nakiris continued to stare at him, though their faces showed that they were listening. Y/N continued, " I assume that you heard that I told Nakiri, uh. Erina, that I loved her. However, that was just a joke that I said to make her blush. I didn't actually mean it." The three of them blinked as they processed what the young boy was saying. Senzaemon was the first to speak. He cleared his throat, "Oh, um, I see. So that's it. it was just a joke." Azami and Mana turned away, embarrassed that they had reacted to what was nothing more than a prank. Y/N asked, "May I go now? If not, I'm going to call the police and report this abduction. The three of them were shocked to hear this. It was only natural. They were all members of one of the most powerful families in Japan. They were not used to someone treating them so casually.

Before any of them could respond, the doors opened once again to reveal Erina and Hisako, the former out of breath. Erina spoke up as she caught her breathe, "Mother, Father, Grandfather." The members of the family stared at each other. Y/N cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention, "Well, this has been fun, but I need to go now. Bye." As he turned to leave, Erina grabbed his hand, "I'll take you back to your house. I have a car waiting outside. Hisako, please stay here and take care of the situation." She turned and pulled Y/N with her. The two of them left the room and went to where the car was parked outside. Azami let out a sigh, "I suppose that it makes sense that she would still be upset with us." Senzaemon said, "Give her time. Healing takes time. We cannot rush this." Azami nodded in understanding and turned to looked back at Erina and Y/N leaving.
