There's no more second guessing decisions that have already been made.
I may walk the streets of the 90s,
But their paths have been set in stone for the ages.
Sunglasses down to dim the terror I find myself staring at.
I'll take anything to drown it out these days.

It's an invasion of the mind.
You can run,
But the enemy will always be with you,
Just waiting for you to grow tired.
They will wait for their moment to strike,
And just when your guard is down,
It will be a sabotage from within the walls.
You can fight back all you want,
But there's no expelling an enemy that's found their home inside your halls.

Grid lines and a sunset are all I crave anymore.
Live in that which pleases the eyes,
For you know nothing can fill your soul again.
Friends become traitors,
Traitors fill the roles of enemies,
And your enemies will come back again and again to torment.
Andromeda, take me.
I'm looking in this digital night sky,
But all I can find is the glow of the city,
Burning in the valley below.

Rest your eyes when peace has entered the night,
You know as well as I do:
No true silence will come.
Screams from below taunt me
