❥stephanie.
I sat in the hotel room, patiently waiting for Matt to come back. Nash and Cameron were laying on the other bed while Nash would not stop recording snapchat stories. He kept laughing every time he tried recording me, but I refused to be in the video. I was starting to get anxious because Matt and Jessica seemed to be talking for hours now.
I let out a big sigh as I leaned against the pillow and pulled the comforters over my body. The room was starting to get a little cold because Cameron insisted that we turn the air on. I didn't mind it though because sleeping in a cold room is nice when you're under warm blankets. When I laid my head down on the pillow, Cameron glanced over at me.
"Tired?" He laughs.
Even though it was the evening, I was still pretty exhausted from all the stuff we did today. "Yeah." I sigh. This whole day my thoughts could only consume of Matt. I was feeling a little sad about this whole situation because I still like him, and I miss being with him.
Suddenly I hear Nash stand up and I glance over to see him walking towards my bed. He has a grin on his face and I can already tell that he wants to prank me or something, so I quickly grab the comforters and pull them over my head.
"Steppphhhh." Nash groans as he plops down on top of me, then rolls over on the other side of the bed.
"What?" I mumble underneath the covers. I really wasn't in the mood to deal with whatever Nash was about to do.
"Talk to me." He says.
I eventually lift the covers off of my head and sit up a little straighter to look at him. I cross my arms and stare at him, waiting until he says something.
"I don't want you to be sad." He pouts.
"I'm not." I shrug.
He shakes his head and sighs, "I know you're lying."
"Why would I be sad?" I question, pulling my eyebrows together.
Before Nash even has a chance to answer, the door to the hotel room opens and when I look over, I see Matt walking in. The room gets silent and I just watch as Matt walks past the bed, without even looking at me. He gets to the corner of the room and bends down to grab some stuff out of his bag and when he stands back up, I notice that he's carrying clothes.
"Bro, how did th-" Cameron begins to say, but is cut off by Matt.
"I'm sleeping in Taylor's room." He states, with no hesitation. He looks at me for a split second, then turns around and begins to walk back out the door.
Nash quickly turns to me as if he's just as confused as I am. What the hell?
Without thinking, I throw the covers off of me and chase Matt out the door. I make it just in time before the door closes, leaving just me and Matt in the hallway. The door slams shut behind me and Matt quickly turns around to look at me, a hint of anger in his eyes. It's almost like he doesn't even want to look or talk to me.
"What do you want." Matt snaps, "I told you I'm sleeping in Taylor's room."
I ignore his rude tone and ask the question I've been dying to ask. "What happened between you and Jessica?"
"Nothing." He says and begins to turn around, but I stop him.
"Answer me." I snap back at him.
"I said nothing! God, just leave me alone." He sighs.
I'm left speechless as he finally breaks our eye contact and turns around to walk into Taylor's room. As much as I want to grab his arm and pull him back towards me, I let him go. I let him go just like I did before.
