stephanie.

"Matt!!" I suddenly scream as he lifts me off the ground, throwing me over his shoulder. I kick my legs out as he spins me around, not letting me down.

Finally he drops me onto the grass, and gets down on his knees to hover over me. His arms rest on each side of my head to hold himself up. He smiles at me before leaning down and softly connecting our lips. When he pulls away, I giggle.

"We're not 16 years old anymore," I smirk.

"I know," he smiles. "But we can still have fun."

I laugh and push him off of me so that I can sit up. He ends up sitting down right next to me on the grass. My eyes scan Central Park, noticing how beautiful it actually is. It's quiet between me and Matt for a moment, and all that's heard is birds above us and traffic from the city. We're in a more secluded area of the park, so there isn't many people around. But we're also on top of a hill, making us able to see a good amount a things.

"Jessica texted me this morning," Matt breaks the silence.

I look over at him, "What did she want?"

"Just wanted to know how I was doing. She told me that she was going back home, so she wanted to know if we were ever going to see each other again," he sighs.

"Oh," I say and look away. I somewhat feel bad for Jessica because of the fact that I literally stole her boyfriend. I knew she understood that me and Matt had history, but not a lot of girls just let that slide. They either want revenge or they try to get the guy back. It reminds me of the feud I had with Lily.

"But I told her that I was with you now, and that she was gonna have to accept it." he finally said, glancing over at me.

Matt notices me looking down, so he moves his body closer to me and wraps his arms around me. I lean into his chest as he holds me tight.

"It's always been you, you know that." he whispers.

I smile into his shirt, "I know."

Our little moment is suddenly interrupted by my phone ringing. I sigh and pull away from Matt, reaching into my pocket to answer it.

It's Nash.

"Hello?" I pick up.

"Hey, I tried calling you earlier."

"Yeah sorry, I was kind of busy." I look over at Matt, who's just staring at me.

"It's okay." he said, "There's just some big news that I've been meaning to tell you."

"Good or bad?" I hesitantly ask.

"Good," I can tell he's smiling.

"What is it?"

He begins, "Remember that one day we went surfing together and you told me that you were into movies and writing?"

"Yeah.." I say, slowly.

"Well, I made a deal with my management company and I ended up getting a main part in this upcoming movie. They're looking for someone to play the leading girl role and I immediately thought of you. I mean, I know you've never acted before, and I haven't really either, but I think this could be a really cool opportunity for us." he finishes.

"Oh my god, are you serious?"

"Yes definitely serious," he laughs. "If you want to do it, you'll just have to come back to LA and go to a few meetings with me, maybe audition, and then sign a bunch of paperwork."

My jaw drops and I feel like running around the entire park right now, that's how excited I am. Matt continues to stare at me, obviously confused about what's happening.
