The 5 hour plane ride back to New York was enough for me and Matt to get some sleep. I have to admit, being in Vegas was a lot of fun although it seemed overrated to me. After saying goodbye to the rest of the guys, we all headed in our separate directions, but hoping to see each other soon. I told Nash or Cameron to call me if they needed anything and they agreed. However, when I brought up Alexis to Cameron he just seemed to shrug it off. I know she's coming to visit soon and I definitely know that the first person she's gonna want to see is, Cameron.

After landing in New York, it was 3 hours ahead time, therefore it was already really late. Me and Matt dragged ourselves to baggage claim. We barely talked but that was okay because I knew that we were both exhausted. I guess being in Vegas for awhile really tires you out.

"We're getting a taxi, right?" Matt asks me, exhaustion clear in his voice.

"Yes," I slightly laugh.

When we finally get our bags, we make our way outside. I feel like we've been through this routine a countless number of times. Especially when Matt was in Magcon, it's like he was traveling every other weekend.

After only 15 minutes in the taxi, we arrive at my apartment in Manhattan. Matt's eyes scan the room as we walk inside.

"It's really nice," he states.

"Thanks," I sigh, "I'm just glad that I can pay for it without having to rely on my parents."

Matt sets his stuff down on the ground and walks around, looking at everything. His eyes land on a family picture on my desk, that was taken last summer. Me, my mom, my dad and my brother.

"How are your parents doing?" Matt asks.

"They split up," I tell him the truth.

He looks back at me, "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"

"It's okay," I smile. I don't want Matt to feel sorrow for me over something that happened a year ago. It was hard to deal with at first, but I'm finally over it. I'm living my own life now and so are my parents.

"I've never met your brother," he looks back at the photo.

"You'd like him," I smile.

I make my way over to the couch sitting in the middle of the living room. I pull my knees up to my chest after sitting down and just continue to watch Matt look around. He seems so mesmerized by everything and it makes me smile.

"Maybe you'll introduce me someday," he smirks.

He walks over to me, sitting next to me on the couch. His lifts his arm up and wraps it around me, pulling me in closer. I rest my head on his shoulder and he lightly kisses my forehead, making my cheeks flush.

"I like this," I say quietly.

"Like what?"

"Being here, with you." I answer.

"I like it too," he whispers. He presses his lips against my forehead again, letting them linger there for a moment before pulling away.

I lift my head off his shoulder to look at him. His eyes glance down to my lips and he slowly leans in. Our lips softly touch and I begin to feel my stomach drop. I honestly missed this feeling so much. There's just something about Matt that whenever he kisses me, it's like the world disappears and it's only us.
