❥stephanie.
"I'm gonna go talk to Matt, that was so rude." Nash snaps.
"No, don't." I hold my hand up to his chest, to stop him from walking any further.
He pushes my hand away, "Steph I'm going to, he could've at least said something to you. But no, he just walked off looking like a fucking douchebag!" His tone of voice is getting angry, but I try to keep myself calm.
"Nash please." I beg, "Just let him be." I try so hard not to cry right now, but I'm not doing a really good job of keeping the tears in.
"No, he needs to come back and apologize." He says, harshly.
"I should be the one apologizing." I mumble to myself, looking down at the floor.
"What?" Nash asks, probably not hearing what I said.
"Nothing." I say, looking back up at him. I walk away from him and over to Cameron who's sitting on the couch. "Cam, do you have the room key?" I ask, wanting to be alone for a moment.
"Yeah hang on." He says, reaching to find it in his pocket and then finally pulls it out and hands it to me, "You're not gonna come out to eat with us?" He asks.
"Right now?" I ask, glancing outside. "It's 1 in the morning."
"Yeah but we're all starving." He laughs, "We're all going to In-N-Out if you wanna join." He smiles up at me.
"I'll come," I try my best to force a smile. "I'll be down in a minute." I say quickly and head towards the elevators.
I read the room number on the card and make my way up to the 11th floor, and down the hall. When I open the door, all of our luggage is already there. The first thing I do is open my suitcase and grab out my makeup bag, then walk into the bathroom. My face was blotchy red from crying earlier, so I put some concealer on, covering everything up. I touch up my eyeliner and mascara, then brush my hair out quickly.
I sit down on the edge of the toilet for a second to take a deep breath. I run my fingers through the roots of my hair and close my eyes as I continue to breathe slowly. When I finally stand up, I look in the mirror one more time and then walk out the door. As I make it back down into the lobby, everyone is standing by the doors getting ready to leave.
I pass by Nash and walk straight to Cameron, not wanting to talk to Nash right now after our little argument. I know that he was just trying to stick up for me, but I didn't need him to.
"Coming?" Cam asks, holding the door open for me.
I nod my head and follow him outside, along with the other guys. As we walk down the street, I hear a girl laughing, causing me to turn around and that's when I realize that Matt and Jessica came along also. I roll my eyes and turn back around, then look over at Cameron.
He notices me looking at him, so he turns his head to meet my eyes, but I quickly glance away. "Hey." Cameron whispers, lightly nudging me on the arm. "Are you feeling okay?" He asks, walking closer to me.
"Yeah." I shrug.
Cameron suddenly turns his head around to look behind us, as we hear more laughing coming from Jessica and Matt. Cam turns back to look at me, realizing that I was probably upset about them.
"Trust me, it's probably not even funny." He says quietly, making me giggle. "Her laugh makes me want to jump off a bridge." He then suddenly fake gags, as if he's disgusted.
I start laughing a lot louder than I intended to, so I quickly cover my mouth. I notice Cameron smirking next to me, so I just nudge his shoulder playfully.
