Okay so Ross and Laura are 70 years old and this one shot and they're still deeply in love.
Ross P.O.V
Here we are sitting on our porch hand in hand looking at the morning sky. We been married for over 50 years and I couldn't be happier, she's still my lovely Laura, yes she doesn't have her brown curly hair, and she doesn't have that perfect skin that everybody talks about. But to me she still has that beautiful face, to me she still has that wonderful hair, to me I think she's as perfect as she was when I first met her when we were only 15.
She sighs I look down at her and she looks up at me.
"I love you Ross." She smiles
"I love you too Laur" I raise her hand and kiss every one of her fingers and sit them down still holding them.
"You know how our 51st anniversary is tomorrow?" She asks.
"I never forget." I smile
"Well how can I be sure your 'ol mind could fog up at any moment." She teases
I laugh and nod, she laughs too.
"What are we going to do?" She asks
"You'll just have to wait and see." I kiss her head and we relax there.Tomorrow
I woke up extra early and made my famous blueberry pancakes and freshly squeezed orange juice. I made two plates and slowly walked up to our room. I set it down on our nightstand and laid next to Laura's sleeping body. I looked at her and rubbed my wrinkled hand across her nose and cheeks. I smiled at how she smiled in her sleep and started to slightly blink. I lean down and kiss her cheek. She opens her eyes and smiles at me, I smile back.
"Happy anniversary Laur."
"Happy anniversary sweets" we give each other a short but passionate kiss.
"I made you and I breakfast in bed."
"You're so sweet."
"Only for you love."
Her cheeks turn rosy, and I just chuckle. I give her plate and I get mine, and we start to eat.
"I was thinking we should get in our Jeep and take a ride."
"Sounds good to me." she says.
After we ate we slowly got dressed and headed downstairs. we walk outside and head to the Jeep I open her door and help her in and buckle her seat belt. I then get in and start to drive, our 20 year old son James and I rented a part in the beach for Laura and my anniversary and we decked it out with some lights and a blanket for a picnic and such and finally a jukebox is there for us to listen to some tunes. While I'm thinking of this I see Laura sticking her hand out of the window playing with the wind. I take her other hand and say "you're going to enjoy today." and she just says "i know I will."We finally get to the beach and she gasps at the scenery that I did for her. "Thank you sweetie." she says
"You're welcome."
We get out, and sit on the blanket and I turn on the jukebox. We enjoy some lemonade and talk about things. After a while I decided to lift her up and start to dance. We sway to let it be by the Beatles and end the dance with a kiss.
We sit back down, and she smiles at me.
"Thank you so much honey I enjoyed everything." "No problem."
I raise my hand to her face and right as I'm about to push back her hair she freezes in place, her mouth widens and then out of no where she collapses. My world stops.
"Laura,LAURA" Nothing, I start to cry and then I pick her up bridal style stumbling may I add. I walk to the car still crying loads. I rush to the hospital, I get her out of the car and push open the hospital doors.
"Help, help its my wife Laura." I yell
They rush to me and put Laura on a gurney and rushes into a room.
"Don't worry she's in good hands sir." a nurse says, I wipe away my tears but more take there place. I sit down and call James and the rest of our family there coming.Hours pass and still nothing, everyone's here now and there in wrecks but not as much as me I'm literally crying a river. My foot won't stop tapping, my head won't stop pounding, until they shake me out of my trance. I look up to see a doctor.
"Mr.Lynch, Laura Lynch's husband."
"That's me is she ok?" I ask.He looks at me. "She had a small stroke."
"Is he ok?" I as more stern.
"She's.....""...fine."
