"This was amazing, Delilah, dear." King Ayden said. I made my homemade meatloaf, onion potatoes and sauteed green beans.

"Thank you sir," The parents thanked me for dinner and took their dishes to the kitchen. My four were on their third plate. I let out a giggle as I watched them. "So what's the plan for tonight?" I went around the table collecting their dishes. I walked into the kitchen and put the dishes in the dishwasher. Bash came up, put his arms around me and his chin on my shoulder.

"We're going to the club tonight." Van said in the doorway. That could work with my plan.

"Awesome. I know exactly what I want to wear." I smiled, turned and four eyebrows raised at me. I walked out of the doorway, looked at my loves, and winked at them. I continued to my room. And picked up my phone, I've noticed that I'm not on my phone as much as I used to be.

Lucy: Are you okay?

Me: Yeah.

Lucy: Lilah, you ran out in tears.

Me: Seeing him was harder than I expected.

Lucy: Well whatever you said, he's coming home today.

Lucy: Also the bimbo at the desk asked if she should call security about you, she said the way you ran out crying made you look like a psycho stalker. Lol. When we told her that you are Dev's sister and my best friend, she looked like she was going to shit herself.

Me: Lol. Take care of him for me, Lucy.

Lucy: I will. Do you think you will ever come home again? And don't say it's not your home because you know it is.

Me: I don't know. He might find someone to love.

Lucy: You know damn well that he won't. I won't press the issue, but I hope that you two can start over.

I couldn't stop thinking about what he said before I left. I chose to walk to the hotel so I could calm down and not alarm the others. I know I still love him and part of me wants nothing more than to be in his arms, but I need to do this for me. I decided to text my mom.

Me: Hi. Mom.

Mom: Hi honey. How are you doing?

Me: I'm good. Having a lot of fun. The royals are really nice people. You're not mad at me, are you?

Mom: As long as you are being safe and you're happy then I'm happy.

Me: I am. Is dad still there?

Mom: Yes, he is. He served Sarah with divorce papers, and he's looking for a new place out this way.

Me: He's not mad?

Mom: He loves you. He knows you are hurting. He would never be mad at you for doing something to protect your heart.

Mom: I know you don't want to hear this, but people make mistakes, sometimes we need to give them a second chance. He loves you honey. He had a panic attack in the shower before breakfast on Sunday, and he literally cried to his dad. Don't throw what you two have away.

Me: I need time mom.

Mom: I know. I love you.

Me: Love you too mom.
