I was taught to read in-between the lines.
Find the evil in the good I see, because everything is not always as it seems.
Like a detective, everyone was a guilty party.
Words had nothing on me, if anything, they enlightened me the more.
But love does play tricks on your mind.
It captivates you and then lets you go.
Like a dog burying its teeth in your skin, the real pain comes after it releases you of its grip.
I fell for the wrong guy, he swept me of my feet and crown me with kisses.
He named me queen and bowed before me with sweet praises.
But he was never mine to keep, have or even lust after.
I'll love you from afar.
Forbidden love is the sweetest of them all.
Philip isn't a lover I can be with.
