Reaching the end of the corridor he was caught in Sky's embrace, looking at him Jao smiled as Sky's arms came over his shoulder. Walking together, they made their way to the canteen where they would meet their friends, the couple talked about various things laughing, joking and smiling, for now, Jao decided not to think any more on the new student or tell anyone about him at least for now as he didn't want to cause trouble for the boy in case he would end up being wrong about him but that didn't mean that Jao wasn't going to be wary of him whenever they would be in the same class or would end up seeing him around the school.

Jao was so lost within his thoughts that he hadn't realised that Sky was trying to get his attention.

"Jao - Jao are you alright love?", he asked concern clear in his eyes.

Sat at the table and his food untouched he looked upon Sky and their friends seeing how they looked at him and was quick to reassure everyone and Sky.

"I'm alright, don't worry", he replied hoping that his response would be enough to convince his boyfriend and their friends but some of them didn't look too convinced, particularly Toh and Daisy but no more was said except for Sky.

"Are you sure love? You know you can always tell me if something is wrong you know that don't you.", Sky spoke softly reaching out and taking hold of Jao's hand gently squeezing his hand and rubbing his thumb across it.

Over a short period of time the canteen became busy as more and more students poured in, Jao picked at his food with the fork not really eating much of it as he felt unsettled for reasons he did not quite understand but he wanted to go somewhere quiet for a while just himself and Sky to get away from all of the noise and the crowds and to have the chance to calm his mind. Whispering to Sky in his ear, Jao told him of the situation and with a squeeze of his hand and a loving gaze, Sky nodded as the two of them stood to leave the table, with questioning looks from their friends Sky gave a quick explanation before they both said goodbye and that they would see them all later, leaving the canteen Sky walked alongside his boyfriend he knew that Jao wasn't quite himself and wanted to find out what was wrong.

Taking a short walk they found themselves in a quiet and secluded place, sitting under a tree it came as a calming sensation to Jao as Sky sat beside him. The afternoon sun shone over them in a warm orange glow moving and twinkling through the leaves of the tree as they moved in the gentle wind, Leaning against Sky he closed his eyes for a moment listening only to the sound of the birds and the gentle breeze of the wind until he heard Sky speak.

"Jao?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you sure you are okay, there's nothing wrong is there?"

"No, I'm okay honestly, I'm just not having the most fantastic day so to speak, I'm just unsettled that's all don't worry.", he spoke softly.

Pulling a book out of his bag, he opened up the book to the page to where he had left off and continued to read it, all was silent for a moment until Sky nudged Jao a little catching his attention.

"Do you want me to read it aloud?"

"Sure."

Giving the book to Sky, Jao listened as he began to read on he sighed in contentment moving himself to lay down and resting his head on his lap before closing his eyes.
