Ninjago & the Legends of Chima: Masters of Spinjtzu

Chapter 2: Balance

Underground, Cole, Cragger, Bladvic, and the ninja fall through a portal.

"Where am I?" Cole asked.

"Ugh... are we... underground?" Bladvic asked looking at their surroundings.

They see five dragons ahead of them. The green one roars.

"Master Wu!" Kai shouts.

He runs forward, but Nya pulls him back.

"Look, Kai! Lava! And it's rising." Nya said to her brother.

The green dragon opens a portal and leaves, while the red one, the white one,  the black one, and the blue one stay behind.

"Okay. To save Master Wu, we just have to get through that other portal before it closes." Lloyd said.

"Easier said than done, dude." Gorzan said.

"And let's not forget about the four dragons waiting for us after that. Those dragons don't look friendly." Nya said.

Lloyd spots some handholds on the wall.

"I've got it!" Lloyd said.

He leaps onto the handholds and nearly falls.

"I think that's a dead end, Lloyd! I got a better idea!" Jay said.

He leaps onto some chains on the ceiling and tries to swing onto a stalactite, but fails.

"Whoa!"

"Logic would dictate that one of these two options will succeed, given no additional variables." Zane said.

Suddenly, Pyro Whippers appear and start to attack the ninja.

"Additional variables. Additional variables!" Cragger shouts.

"The heat's evaporating any water. I can't use my power!" Nya said.

"I'm not gonna have that problem!" Kai says as he attacks them with fire, but they spit the fire back.

"Yeah, you have a whole different problem! These things love fire!" Laval said.

"I may have a clear path!" Zane said.

He lands on a flat surface in the lava, but Jay lands next to him, nearly knocking him off.

"Er, my path was not so clear!" Jay shouts.

"I think I've got it." Lloyd said as he leaps ahead, but leaps away to dodge the Lava Monster's attack. "Now what? Giant lava monster. Sure, why not?"

Cole, Cragger, and Bladvic together look at their teammates in danger and the enemies surrounding them.

"It's too much! We have to ... find... balance." Cole said.

They then have a flashbacks. Cole's was about his parents dancing in the dance class. Cragger's was his parents swimming in their swamp elegantly. Bladvic's was his father getting honey from the honeybees. They then begins to fight, swiftly dodging all the attacks and destroying the lava monster.

"I can't believe that worked. Okay, dragons. You're next. Let's go!" Cole said.

They prepare to attack, only for the dragons to lick them playfully.

"Whoa! Huh? So, we're friends? Okay. And I need your help. Can I get a lift?" Cragger said.

The dragons carry the ninja through the portal.

"Let's get out of here! We need to find Master Wu!" Bladvic said.

Behind the ninja and the dragons, the portal closes.
