Authors Note: For my friend, who is my Ai, and dear grammar nazi. Thanks for the 600 reads which was the goal. Now, on with the new chapter.

"How do you know about Leafcrossing?!" I nearly yell, but then I catch myself and realize that I might wake the others.

"I ain't stupid." Jenny snaps back. So sassy.

Bring down that sass level, girl I say mentally.

Zac twitches. He looks... Like he wants to say something but he can't.

"I'm sorry," I apologize. She seems a little less frustrated now. She shifts her weight into her right hip.

"It's a long story. Right, Zac?" She cues Zac to agree with her. He just nods. He's holding something back.

"So," Jenny begins pacing back and forth, "you got your 'fable' from Reagan Smith?"

We nod. Apparently Smith was Reagan's last name.

"Reagan, she was almost like a mentor to me. A dear friend. She taught me how to, well, pass along the information. She was the first one to, uh, frankly, she was the first one to teach anyone about Leafcrossing. But there are rules we all after follow. It's almost like a black magic."

Did she just say black magic?!

"Yes, I'd say it's almost like black magic..." Jenny trailed off.

I look to Zac, who is still very uncomfortable.

"Zac? Is something bothering you?"

"It's 'I'm not stupid.' Not 'I ain't stupid.'" Zac blurts. Ah, my grammar nazi.... What would Terragorra do without him?

"You see, in Terragorra, after we fought Farvorta in the Split War, they started hiding things from the Terragorrans. We didn't like that, so some of us set up a rebellion. This is what you are dabbling in. It's very dangerous. Some of us began to dabble in- hiding things from the government. This is what your looking for."

"Do you know where we can get it?!" I query, my brain working furiously.

"No, I'm sorry, Lizzie. I don't."

I sigh, "Thank you for helping us."

"I've given you as much help as I can," Jenny replies. This was obviously going to be hard.

Just like that we said our goodbyes, ate some of Jenny's pancakes, and left.

Terragorra is so big... I don't even know what to do.
