Haliegh's POV
Liam helped me out to the car after Nana signed the release forms and gave them to the nurse.
"Still wanna go on that date?"
"You know it."
"I'll pick you up at 7."
"Okay."

When we got to the house Liam runs across the street to his house.
"Still going on that date right."
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Because your grandpa is here."
I stop moving, my biggest fear is not being able to get away from him and right now I can't.
''Ima get my stuff for my date and go to Lila's."
Lila, my best friend, was going to come come over to help me get ready anyways so it'll make it easier for her.
"Alright be careful."
I crutch into the house and my grandpa is standing in front of my room door, bat in hand, blocking my entrance.
"You're not going anywhere young lady."
"Okay, I'm not."
"Don't get that attitude either. "
He suddenly hits my crutches with the bat and I hit the ground so hard that everything goes black.....
