Haliegh's POV
I walk with Scott and Stiles to lacrosse practice.
"Of course you're still the team captain. You got your grades up just like coach told you to right."
"Yeah but he never told me I was back on the team he just told me to show up to tryouts today."
"We've got bigger things to deal with anyway. Did you tell Argent yet?"
"I texted him but he didn't get back to me."
"You told him his sister Kate came back from the dead over text."
"Didn't have the money to call France."
"Yeah you think you've got money problems try paying for an MRI and a visit to Eichen House."
"Another notice."
"Yeah this one said final. Now what the hell are even doing here anyway. We've got like 117 million other problems and worrying about our status on the lacrose team is not one of them."
"It is now."
"Oh my god. He's here."
I walk away from them to Liam.
"Nice Liam you might be our first ever freshmen team captain."
"Liam!?!"
"Haliegh!"
He runs over and hugs me.
"Oh my god I'm so happy to see you."
I stand behind the lockers in the boys locker room. And Liam gets a little annoyed by Stiles. Scott sees Liam put his arm around me and walk out.
"So back together right."
"Yep."

"Are you going to come watch my tryouts?"
"Of course I'll stand right next to coach."
"Good."
He pecks my lips and runs off.
Outside I stand next to coach and watch them play.
"Terrible, Horrifying, pathetic, unbelievably pathetic. Is that everyone?"
Stiles comes wheezing through.
"Yep that's everyone."
They line up to shoot and Stiles sucks. Then Liam shoots and it goes in.
"Yes!!!"
"Go Liam!"
"Whoo!"
Then came the two on ones, Garrett went first and they crushed him.
"That's my boys. Those two are like sons to me."
"That's how you do it, that's how its done."
Then Liam, he gets passed them the first time and Malia shoots up screaming,"That was luck! Do Over!"
"Sweetheart there's no do-overs this is practice."
"10 bucks on Scott and Stiles."
"I'll take that action. Hey get back in there Liam!"
I cover my mouth to keep from freaking out, Scott slams Liam and he slams the ground.
"Liam!"
"Don't move! Don't touch him!"
He looks at my worried face and says,"I'm okay coach, I'm alright. Ahhh! Its my leg."
Coach leaves and I say,"What the hell?"
I put my hand on top of Liam's and take some of his pain away.
"Don't leave without Haliegh,"Liam exclaims as Stiles and Scott put him in the car.
"Haliegh get in the car before your little boyfriend has a conniption."
"Hi mom."
"Don't worry Liam we'll take good care of you."
"Wait can Haliegh come with me?"
"Sure sweetheart."
I walk next to the wheelchair as it rolls along.
"Its broken isn't it."
"It's definitely gonna need an x-ray."
"Its my fault."
"You wanna tell me what happened."
"I went up against two juniors one of them captain of the team."
"Well remember what we always say play smart not hard."
"You mad at me."
"No of course not. Your mom might be mad at me for getting you into lacrosse but maybe we should both wait for the x-ray before we panic and trust me I have more reason to panic than you. Its not over yet. Wait for the x-ray and nice to see you again Haliegh."
I rub Liam's back taking away pain occasionally.
"Haliegh are you mad at me."
"No sweetheart if its broken I'll help you. It'll all be okay."
"Promise."
"I promise."
My phone rings and I answer.
"Lydia."
"Let me guess your at the hospital too."
"Yeah why?"
"Sean Walcott I don't know what he is but he's some sort of cannibal."
"Wendigo.."
"Be careful don't let him get near you, if he does scream."
"Okay, but he's really close I can hear him coming."
"Haliegh! Be careful! Don't leave the room."
"I have to go."
I hang up.
I hear screaming and I walk out of the room with Liam behind me.
"Hey anyone hear that I heard someone."
"Get away!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!", I scream as he grabs my arm.
He pushes me and Liam over the roof top and I almost lose my grip, I scrape a lot of skin off my hand as I try to hold on.
"Scott help me please!!"
He pulls me up and I see that he bit Liam.
