Haliegh's POV
I walk into the weight room and see Mason and Liam lifting weights.
"Liam it's your old school, Devenford Prep."
Liam runs out, "Mason what happened at his old school."
"He destroyed his coach's car."
"What?!?"
"Yeah, he uh got benched the entire season. And that happened."
"Woah."
My dad walks into the weight room, "Hey sweetheart."
"Hey dad."
"Liam, has some serious anger issues and I think if he's as in love with you as you say he is. You can help him control the shift."
"Like an anchor."
"Yeah, and here's your Econ book. You left it in my car."
"Thanks."
"Do you like Braeden?"
"Yeah she's cool, but I've known her longer than you."
"She likes me better."
"Clearly I see the way you look at her. I know my dad has a little crush on her."
"Shut up. And uh Braeden is going to come get you after the game."
"Okay love you."
"Love you too."
I walk past the locker room and I hear growling and become curious.
"Just a couple."
"You gotta be honest with us. What else happened?"
"Nothing. I got kicked out of school they sent me to a psychologist for an evaluation."
"What'd they call it?"
"Intermittent Explosive Disorder."
"I.E.D. Your literally an I.E.D. that's great, you gave superpowers to a walking time bomb."

"Liam."
"I don't know who ordered the keg but I know who payed for it."
"Haliegh is that you?",Liam says after I get a little too close to them.
"Yeah you caught me."
*At the game*
"Liam, look at me,"I say putting my hands on his cheeks,"I love you. Kick Brett's ass. And if you start losing control Scott and I will help."
"Thanks Haliegh Hay. Love you too. Here take my jacket, you look cold."
"Thanks go kick their asses."
"Definitely."
My hands fly to my mouth.
"Liam calm down."
"Hello,"I say into my phone.
"Haliegh, Meredith is at the Sheriff's Station. I'm going to get as much information as I can. I'll call you after it's over."
"Thanks Lyds."
"Bye."
Kira scores and we cheer, but Coach benches her for not passing the ball.

"I see that now. I just saw you both go down and I got worried."
"I know but just telling you I'm okay."
"I'm glad your okay. And uh I took your shirt out of your locker."
"Yeah I see that."
"You know it looks good on me."
"Yeah."
