They drove towards Virginia. Daryl hold Beth in his lap for hours. His eyes never left her face. He saw her two scars. He gently rubbed his hand over her stitches, slowly working towards her wound. He put his index finger over the bullet hole. Once he covered it, it looked like that Beth was sleeping.

A few moments later, the car began to break down.
"Daryl," Rick said.
Daryl slowly looked up.
"We have to go. You got to leave her here." He said with a frown on his face.
Daryl's face automatically turned red with anger. He was about to protest, but then he realized that he won't be able to hold Beth for the rest of his life.
It took all his strength and courage to help him to say,
"Okay,"

Everyone paid their respects, Daryl taking the longest. He slowly bent down, and put his lips to Beth. Her lips were cold, but something in Daryl said that they were still warm. He enjoyed it, even if she couldn't feel it. He thought that she was going to wake up when he broke the kiss. He made his first kiss with Beth in the car. Even though she didn't kiss back, he gets to say that he kissed the most important essential in the world, Beth Greene.

He wraps a bandage around her head because it does matter. He places one of his bolts in Beth's hand, like a rose. He runs a hand through her golden hair, ignoring the wound.

"I'm glad I didn't say goodbye, I hate goodbyes,"

"Me too,"

He walks out of the room, and putting a sign on the door saying,

"Beth Greene, always has hope, never stops fighting, is the light of Daryl "

Daryl locked the door and with his hand against the window, he let a tear fall from his face.
"You're gonna miss me so bad when I'm gone Daryl Dixon"
They continued on to Richmond, Virginia, so that Noah could be with his family, and a possible sanctuary.

Daryl would never forget Beth.

He would see her again, but until then, he would continue to survive for both him and her, but mainly for her.

A few minutes later, Beth felt pain. She slowly opened her eyes, and looked around confused and scared.
