Beth slowly opened her eyes. She looked around and immediately realized she was in a car. She was holding one of Daryl's bolts in her hand. She saw a cast on her right wrist. She remembered seeing headlights flashing at her before everything went black. The last thing she remembered was what Daryl asked her to do which was wait for him at the end of the road while he was drawing off the walkers. That's when the car came.
Beth started to hyperventilate. She was taken away from Daryl. She put her hands against window and screamed. She was trying to use the bolt to break the window, once she did, pain automatically hit her head.
...

Daryl walked very slowly. He was only five minutes away from the car. All the others were far ahead of him. He didn't want to leave Beth, but he knew that she would want him to survive in this world. She would want him to be the last man standing, but he didn't want that. He wanted her right by him. If only he just held her back from Dawn, just maybe, she would be holding his hand right now. The world was dark without her.
Daryl then heard glass break behind him. He thought that a walker broke into the car where Beth laid. He was about to turn around, and put a bolt through its head, but instead, he saw Beth's arm with a cast over it. He looked even closer, and saw a bolt in her hand.
Daryl didn't have time to think if she turned or not, he just ran towards the car screaming her name. Rick and the others turned around and saw Daryl running towards the car.
...

Beth hand her arm out of the car. After her head quit hurting as much, she managed to hear someone call her name. It sounded so familiar to her. She looked up and saw Daryl running towards her. She felt tears come from her eyes. She then tried to kick the door, but every time she kicked it, more pain went to her head. Luckily, when Daryl got to her, he pulled the door so hard that it broke off the car. Once it was off, Daryl automatically hugged Beth close to him. He cried into her hair. She was alive. She survived a bullet to the head. She put her arms around his neck. She started to cry into his shoulder. Beth had no idea why Daryl was crying so much. It wasn't like him. When they finally pulled apart, Beth saw the whole group around them. She saw a teenage boy staring at her with a smile on his face. He was the same height as Glenn, dark skin, and dark hair. Beth had no idea who he was, but something about him seemed familiar to her. Beth began to have a huge grin on her face. Tears began to roll down her cheeks. Rick, Maggie, and Glenn were all shocked to see Beth. Just to see her eyes made everybody feel like that this was a whole big dream. Maggie couldn't believe that her sister was alive. That's when she fainted. Beth gasped at Maggie's fainting. She knew something must of happened, but everyone was here and alive.
"What's wrong?" Beth asked to everyone, lastly looking at Daryl. She then felt pain her head so bad, that she felt like she was going to pass out. Her legs felt wobbly, and she began to tumble. When she was certain she was going to hit the ground, she felt Daryl's arms wrap around her, pulling her close to his body. She felt safe in his arms, but she was already unconscious before she could say thanks.

Beth didn't remember waking up at Grady or meeting Noah or Dawn.
Beth had no idea that she was shot in the head...
