Chapter 9

San walked through the streets as thoughts flooded his head. He wanted to know what happened at his house before. His hair was blue, he had water splash onto him suddenly.

"Too much already"... He muttered as he made his way to a quiet spot in the park. San walked through some of the bushes to a quiet, hidden spot. He sat down and sighed.

There was a small next to him and San looked at it before he reached towards it and saw the water move as his hand waved over it.

"I-I can control it"? He whispered. He sat on his knees and waved his hands over the puddle and watched as it lifted up into the air and followed his hand.

"Woah... But how can I control water"? San heard someone coming closer and let the water drop and turned around before hiding in the bush.

"You sure there's one here"? He heard.

"Yes sir. I can sense it". San held his breath.

"We need to find that crystal now! I want them all"! The two men walked off as San sat there.

"C-crystals? W-wait"... He grabbed the crystal from around his neck.

"T-this crystal"? San began to feel scared. He got out of the bush and ran out of the park before he ran into someone.

"I-I'm so sorry. I-I didn't mean"-

"It's fine". San froze when he heard the voice. It was the same voice he heard near the bush. He looked up and swallowed and the male's eyes landed on the crystal.

"That crystal... Give it to me". San grabbed the crystal and moved back.

"N-no"...

"Then I'll take it by force"! The man reached for San but the boy ducked and ran as fast as he could. He held the crystal tight as he ran before slipping into an alley and hid.

"Where did you go"!? The man shouted as he walked into the alley. San covered his mouth as he tried to stay quiet.

"I know you're here"... San moved his knees up to his chest before the object he was hiding behind was thrown away and the man stood above him.

"Found you"... He reached for San before someone called out to him.

"Hey! Leave him alone"! The boy shouted. San looked over to see two boys walking closer.

"What are you gonna do"? The man sneered. The one in the front walked closer before fire shot out from his hands and towards the man. San jumped out of the way and the man disappeared.

"Hwa you shouldn't use your powers. You could've hurt someone and you have no way of stopping the fire", the other boy said. San turned to see the line of fire and waved his hands over a large puddle of water before dropping it onto the fire.

"T-thank you"... He whispered. The two walked over.

"You ok? What did he want"?

"H-he wanted my crystal for some reason"... The two looked at the crystal around San's neck.

"I'm guessing that gives you your power"?

"H-how did you"-

"We have one. We got the crystals yesterday and this morning, we woke up to powers and well, dyed hair".

"S-same! I-I didn't know it was from the crystal... I-I'm San by the way".

"I'm Seonghwa and this is my younger brother Wooyoung".

"It's nice to meet you"! San smiled.

"Come on. We're not safe here. That man could come back". San nodded and followed Seonghwa and Wooyoung, unaware of the male watching them from the roof.

"I'll get them crystals just you wait"...

I'm gonna start doing slow updates. I am slightly in the right mind state but I still want to focus on myself. So I'm sorry if I don't update everyday like I used to with this book.
