Chapter 19

San and the group searched through the streets and forests, trying to look for Seonghwa but they couldn't find him.

"Where are you Hwa"... San whispered.

"You like my brother don't you San"? He heard. San looked next to him and looked straight at Wooyoung.

"N-no, I don"-

"Don't lie. I saw how you looked at him and your worried as much as I am. I'm not mad".

"Your not"? Wooyoung nodded.

"I'm his younger brother. I don't have a say on who he dates. But you seem to make him happy". San smiled before a large wall of fire appeared in front of them and the two jumped back.

"What the fuck"!? San turned to the others and saw they were ok.

"W-where did this come from"? Wooyoung asked.

"Wait... Hwa! He controls fire! He's near"!! San looked around, trying to find him before his eyes landed on the someone else.

"Um... G-guys? We may wanna go"... The other turned and their faces paled and moved back.

"Good to see you boys again", the man spoke, a smirk on his face.

"Where's Seonghwa"!? Wooyoung shouted.

"Oh you mean him"? The man pointed behind them and they turned.

"Hwa"! Wooyoung shouted. But San held him back. He knew something was wrong with the older.

"Woo don't. Something's wrong"... San whispered. Wooyoung looked at his brother and noticed changed to him. San noticed them as well. His hair was blonde with orange streaks through it and his eyes were bright red.

"W-what happened to you Hwa"? San asked softly.

"Would you like to join him"? The man sneered. He clicked his fingers and Seonghwa charged forward, flames circling the group.

"Seonghwa! Snap out of it"! Hongjoong shouted, dodging the older's punches. San used his magic to put the fire out around them but the moment he did, the fire would start back up.

"What the"... The man laughed as he walked through the flames, looking at San and the boy began to cough as he felt his airways getting crushed.

"S-stop i-it"... San managed to squeak. The man smirked as he walked closer to San, the younger coughing and falling to the ground.

"SAN"!! Wooyoung screamed, running over but the man raised a hand at him and the boy coughed, holding his throat.

"I'll take the crystals by force if I have to". He bent down next to San and reached for the crystal around his neck before he was blown away from San.

"Leave him alone"!! Mingi shouted. San gasped for air as his airways opened and Wooyoung dropped to his knees as he breathed slowly.

"T-thanks M-Mingi"... San managed to whispered.

"No problem. Now you deal with getting Seonghwa back. Hongjoong and I will deal with him".

"I'm helping", Yeosang said, walking over. No one argued as San and Wooyoung ran over to Seonghwa and San grabbed his arms, trying his best to ignoring the burning.

"Hwa please listen to me"! San cried out. Seonghwa ripped his arm away and kicked San to the ground. He groaned and sat up slowly.

"H-Hwa, I'm not giving up on you... Calm down please"! Seonghwa ignored him and grabbed him by the shirt.

"P-please... I-I love you Hwa"! San cried before he pulled Seonghwa close and kissed him. As he did, San slipped Seonghwa's crystal into his own hand and dropped it. Seonghwa stood there as San pulled away.

"P-please come back Hwa"... He whispered, connecting their foreheads. Seonghwa blinked as his grip loosened on San's shirt.

"S-Sannie"?

"Hwa"! The two hugged. The red left Seonghwa's eyes as his hair slowly returned to black.

"Your ok"! San said happily

"You saved me... H-he did something to my crystal... I-I can't touch it anymore. I don't have my powers"... Seonghwa whispered.

"That wasn't your crystal. It was another carnelian. The shape was different than what I saw last time". Seonghwa looked at the older male before them.

"Where's my crystal"?

"Your not getting that back. I'll have all your crystals soon. Just you all wait". The man disappeared and Seonghwa looked down. He was powerless now.

"Hey Hwa it's ok. We'll find it".

"I-I just feel so helpless now... I liked my power"... Seonghwa whispered.

"Wait where did you get it? Maybe there could be another one"? Hongjoong suggested.

"I-I can show you but I doubt they'll have another".

"It's worth trying to look". Seonghwa nodded and led the group to where he got his crystal, holding San's hand as they walked.
