Chapter 11

"So... Seonghwa you have fire"? San asked.

"Yep. I nearly burnt myself trying to make breakfast. My power just jumped out and scared me", Seonghwa spoke.

"Oh. I got soaked when I first found out my power", San said. Seonghwa smiled.

"I kinda don't know what mine is", Wooyoung spoke.

"I'm sure you'll find out soon", San said, looking at the younger. Wooyoung smiled as they entered their house.

"This is our house. You can stay here if you'd like. Its best to stay together if we're getting hunted".

"He wants our crystals. We need to keep them on us at all times. I can turn your crystals into some jewelry, so you don't lose them".

"Really? That would be great"! San smiled as Wooyoung got some things for him to use.

"I used to make jewelry all the time".

"Thanks. Just give me your crystals and I'll get started". Seonghwa and Wooyoung placed their crystals down in front of San and the boy got to work.

"Do you think there are others like us out there"? Wooyoung asked his brother.

"Maybe. We'll just have to find them. But we'll also have to be careful in case we run into the man again".

"I think I was lucky you two showed today", San said.

"Why"?

"I don't have the best power. Water, what can I really do with it? It wouldn't of protected me properly and he wouldn't got his hands on my crystal", San whispered. Seonghwa rubbed his back.

"Well you have us now. And no one will get our crystals. We need to know why we were chosen to wield these powers". San nodded as he went back to work before there was a knock at the door. They all turned and Seonghwa lit a small fire in his hand as he looked at the door.

"Hwa, put that out"! Wooyoung hissed.

"We don't know who that is. I'm not risking it". Wooyoung sighed and walked over to the door and opened it slowly. It was two younger males, roughly their age.

"May we help you"?

"H-hi, can we hide here? We were getting chased and we don't want to head home", the shorter male said.

"Of course". The boys rushed in as Wooyoung closed the door and locked it. The two looked at San and Seonghwa and saw Seonghwa make the fire in his hand disappear.

"Y-your like us"...

"What"? San asked, looking up at them.

"I-I'm Hongjoong this is Mingi. Your friend's like us".

"Elaborate please"? Seonghwa asked. Hongjoong sighed and lifted his hands upwards, small bushes and flowers breaking through the floor.

"Woah"... Mingi took a deep breath before he blew out, a strong gust of wind nearly knocking the boys over.

"You have powers"... San whispered.

"Yep", Hongjoong said, lowering his hands as the plants disappeared.

"You all have powers"? Mingi asked.

"Well, you saw me with fire", Seonghwa spoke.

"I can control water". San turned the tap on and waved his hand above it, creating a large bubble of water.

"That's cool"! Hongjoong said, his eyes sparkling. San smiled as he dropped the water carefully into the sink.

"I-I don't know what mine is", Wooyoung muttered.

"You'll find you soon hopefully", Mingi said. Wooyoung smiled as they walked over to the other two. San went back to what he was doing and soon finished.

"Woo, Hwa, I'm done"! He held up two necklaces, both holding the crystals of the two boys.

"Wow San... These are awesome"! Seonghwa said, placing his one. Wooyoung did the same and smiled.

"Now we won't lose them".

"Wait, could you do that to ours"? Hongjoong asked San.

"Of course. It makes it easier to keep them on you". Mingi and Hongjoong took their crystals out and placed them in front of San and the boy got to work yet again.

"So who were you running away from"? Wooyoung asked.

"Some man wanted our crystals. He was scary".

"He went after you"? Seonghwa whispered.

"Y-you've ran into him"? The boys nodded.

"He tried to take San's crystal. He disappeared but we got away".

"You sure you weren't followed"? Wooyoung asked. Mingi and Hongjoong's face dropped.

"I-I don't know"...San finished the necklaces and held them up.

"Here you guys go. Your crystals are secure". Hongjoong and Mingi took the crystals and placed them on.

"Thanks San... But we don't know if we were followed". San face dropped before something smashed through the window.

"Shit"! San grabbed Hongjoong and Mingi and pulled them back.

"What is that? T-that's not a grenade right"? Wooyoung asked as Seonghwa pulled him back. Hongjoong went to wrap the thing in vines but nothing happened.

"What? M-my powers aren't working"! The boys turned to him.

"What"?

"My power isn't working"! Seonghwa tried to use his power but nothing happened.

"Mine isn't working either"...

"That thing jams our powers"... San whispered. He ran towards the device and grabbed it, throwing it out of the house.

"We need to go now! If that thing could jam our powers, he's near". The others nodded and they ran out the backdoor. San felt his powers kick back in and he smiled.

"Our powers should work now. Let's keep going for now and find somewhere to hide".
