To say the plane ride to Chicago was uncomfortable would be an understatement. Hanbin kept glaring at me and all I would do is smirk at him. Not only did I kick his ass in the fight, but I was on the way to getting Jennie back and he can forget about even having any chance with her.
He may think he has a shot with Jennie, but I plan to stop that even before anything serious can begin. That creep does not deserve to be with Jennie at all. Bambam kept looking between me and Hanbin and shaking his head.
"Fuck man how is this going to affect our game tonight?" he asks me.
"I am over it. I'll work with him for the betterment of the team, but that is it," I say.
"Well what the hell changed over the last 24 hours? You were ready to kill him."
I just smirk to myself, not really wanting to say anything about what happened between Jen and I.
"I talked to Jennie after I got back to the building last night," I say.
"Seriously, I told you to let her be unless you were going to try and make things work with her," he says.
"I am. When we get back and I am talking to Nancy and letting her know I am going to be there for her and the baby, but I am going to be with Jennie."
"About damn time. Great now we can all get back to normal after this speed bump," he says smiling.
We get to Chicago and head to the hotel. All I want to do at that moment is call Jennie and see her beautiful face.
I get to the room with Bambam and sit down on the bed and call her on Facetime.
It rings a couple of times and connects me to Jennie.
"Hey you," I say with a smile, but immediately I can see the worry on her face.
"Hey. You guys made it to Chicago okay?"
"Yep just checked in and you are my first call. What is wrong? Don't say nothing cause your face gave it away," I say.
"I don't really want to bother you with it."
"Please tell me. Are you having second thoughts about us? Or what happened last night? I ask her.
"Not at all. I wanted what happened last night as much as you did. It's just after you left this morning after saying goodbye, Nancy came by and paid me a visit."
"What, how the hell did she know your condo number?"
"I am not sure, she just said she has eyes everywhere, which is creepy. She knew you spent the night here too. She told me basically if I don't back off she has people to take of that for her," Jennie says.
"What the fuck. I am so sorry I am going to get some security over there for you," I assure her.
"No it's fine. I don't think she is going to do anything. She just tried to scare me is all."
"God I am so sorry. I swear when I get back I am getting a lawyer and we are going to lay out a custody arrangement with her and I'll move her into another place."
"I don't know if I could go back to living there. It's not home to me anymore," she says.
"We'll look for a new place then. A home for you and me. A place where we can put roots down and raise our family, including my child with Nancy."
"God I love you so much and this next part is so hard to tell you," she says.
"What is it? You are scaring me," I say looking into her eyes.
