Hay guys! So this book is almost finished, I finally managed to get a decent cover on it, I know a few of you were reading Loose Screws but I deleted it and am working on a different book that's less dramatic!

Anyway thanks for reading, almost 500 reads already! I didn't even except anyone to read it, thanks for the support and feel free to comment and vote! ❤️

Hardy sat in the basement with Morgan, their kids sleeping on the bed as they sat up drinking, Christmas had come and gone. Morgan was releasing an album soon and Hardy decided he was taking a hiatus for a while.

"I miss being out here man, been thinking since I got here, might move out here for a while" Hardy said as Morgan raised his eyebrows.

"Why?" Morgan asked as Hardy looked back at Cole.

"It's been almost eight months since we split man, I've been working my ass of tryna prove to Izzy I'm sorry but i see it in her face man, it's quitting time" Hardy sighed drinking from the bottle. Morgan smiled as he grabbed his note book.

"What?" Hardy asked,

"I've been working on a song. I haven't had a chorus but that's it! Quitting time" Morgan smiled. He wrote words down before grabbing his guitar. "Think you'll like this one bro"

Putting in that over time and coming up with nothing,
Sure as hell ain't for a lack of trying,
There's no use wasting time, fighting for nothing,
When you see that white flag a flyin'
Can you hear that whistle blow,

All day thinking time,
And all night drinking time,
Time to sing, and time to find if,
Rhyme has a reason.
Time to pack it in and stay down,
Pack it up and walk away now!

Hardy listened to Morgan preform the song as he took in the words. He felt his heart hurt hearing the words. Everything he ever wanted was his family and all he did was break it up.

Izzy had always been end game for him. He never loved a woman the way he felt for Izzy. She was his twin flame. His other half and he was the one that broke that up.

It was his biggest regret. His worst mistake. He had it all made and he let it slip away.

"You alright man?" Morgan asked as he sat the guitar down, Hardy nodded as he drank the last of his bottle.

"As I'll ever be" He sighed as he spent the night talking with Morgan and drinking more. They had gone outside for a cigarette before realising the sun was coming up. The frosty cold morning set in around them as they watched silently,

"You know if you move out here you're the one calling it quits" Morgan said finally. Hardy blew out the smoke and shook his head.

"I'd never give up on them, it's something I'll never do man" He said looking out to the sky as the red morning sky lit up.

"Somethings you always plan on making it work, look at me with Katie, I tried so man times to make that work but in the end I accepted that Indy was better with us being friends than forcing us together" Morgan spoke as he stubbed out his cigarette,

"Yeah but Izzy isn't Katie man, we've been through so much... I can't just accept that I fucked it up" hardy replied as he yawned,

Izzy was at the bar since her parents were in town. Delaney and Erns baby shower had turned into a drinking session. She sat at the bar chatting with Erns friend Alex. They had known eachother for a long time through friends.
