This was it. The real deal. Mark and Chenle dressed up nice and fancy for this premiere wearing black suits and red ties to support their young friend. They had already seen the full show through the dress rehearsal a few days before, but that didn't mean anything to Mark. He was ready to see those skills in action, especially the skills involving Donghyuck's sensual dance routine. They were proud of Donghyuck's hard work, and how he didn't let any of the negativity get to him, even after everything he learned from the voice recording Mark showed him. When Doyoung's body was reported to the campus police, they did an investigation. From watching the footage of the cameras nearby they let Mark off with self-defense since Doyoung was infamous for being a suspicious individual. It was finally over.

Mark and Chenle both arrived at the auditorium along with crowds of families and friends. Donghyuck had already run off backstage to get ready, and the cast and staff did several sound checks and lighting checks to make sure everything was working right. The two friends sat down in their assigned seats on the floor and Chenle bounced in his seat from the excitement. "I'm so ready to see him!"

"Me too." Mark smiled. He thought about the two other people who could have been with him.

Chenle figured it out by his expression. "Hey, don't worry. Jeno doesn't deserve to see him. And as for Johnny... well, he would want you to enjoy yourself. I'll record Hyuck for him to see when he wakes up." The orange-haired boy winked and got his phone camera ready.

"Something just doesn't feel right." Mark said.

"You're just getting anxious. Relax. We are here for Hyuck."

Soon enough, the instructors called for the audience to quiet down so the show can begin. One of them gave a long winded speech thanking the cast and crew, which led to hundreds of people clapping in unison. Soon, the regular lights dimmed and the spotlights made the stage glow different colors. The first bunch of actors showed up when the curtains were pulled, and they began their first scene hopping and singing to set the mood. All of the students involved were equally talented but they were not Donghyuck. It wasn't long before those actors created a circle at the ending of a group ballad. Mark remembered this arrangement. It was almost time for Donghyuck to show up.

Meanwhile, offstage, Donghyuck stared at the students finishing up the song and positioning themselves so that he can be the next center. He peeked out to see if his boyfriend was watching, only able to put his head out enough to see Chenle with his phone out to record everything. He felt confident that he'll nail the whole thing without Doyoung breathing on his shoulder. Come to think of it, the last time Donghyuck checked his phone, there were no more messages coming from his enemy. He was finally set free from his control.

His instructors soon signaled for him. It was time.

"Here he comes," Chenle squealed, and Mark nudged him to shut up. They both watched Donghyuck putting on his acting façade, walking solemnly into center stage, while the other students went upstage. Turning into his character, he took a few glances at the others and then faced the audience. A white spotlight shined down on him, and he reached his arms up high. Mark thought he looked as ethereal as an angel sent from heaven. The melanin in his skin was glowing under the light, looking just as attractive as the first rehearsal Mark went to.

The entire room fell silent. Donghyuck faced the bright spotlight, remembering the routine he had spent months perfecting. Then, the song blasted. It was slow, rhythmic, and romantic. His body seemed to move on its own, hitting every single beat. He slid one foot behind the other and spun around as if he was on ice. His hips swayed along with the notes of the song. Throwing his head back, he gasped, losing himself in his own sensuality.
