"Don't- Don't try anything!" I heard Ki-hoon's voice loudly and my slumber was interrupted.
I lifted my head up from his shoulders. My vision still a little blurry but I immediately saw Ki-hoon's gun pointing forward. His arms trembling as he held his knees on one hand but his grip on his gun was as firm as ever. So I held on his arms to try and stop it from shaking.
I turned and I saw Han. He's finally awake. With this, my blood went up to my head. My vision now wide and clear.
Han lifted his blanket. He probably saw that his right limbs are now all severed. However, his expression was still stoic despite this grim resolution for him.
Ki-hoon and I remain unmoved. We didn't know what to say or do. We could only observe Han as he takes in and observed his current condition.
Han closed his eyes, furrowed his eyebrows and tilted his head. He was quiet for a while like this. As if to recall.
When he finally opened his eyes, he looked at both of us with the creepiest grimace I had ever seen.
"Try what?" he said smirked.
"M-my dad. Tell me where he is!" Ki-hoon questioned him. Still his gun was pointed firmly at Han.
"Your dad?" Han questioned back and continued, "You don't need to strain yourself with that gun. You don't have it in you yet. You even let me live."
Ki-hoon stood up abruptly and pointed the gun closer at Han. He shouted "Just f*cking tell me where my father is and leave us alone! F*cking spill!"
With his left hand, Han pointed his finger to move Ki-hoon's gun slowly.
He moved it around slowly to point on his chest, neck and forehead while saying "If you'll shoot to kill, aim on these parts. Heart, carotid artery and head. Not at the gut. Don't forget that, kid."
Ki-hoon pulled away and stepped backwards. He says, "Where is my dad? Please tell me. Please." with a begging and cowardly tone this time.
Ki-hoon.
He's so gentle."I don't know where your father is. But let's make a deal. Follow my orders and you'll find your father. Even free your parents. And many more. After all, you saved me from dying." Han says and I felt a little annoyed for Ki-hoon.
Why is Han playing Ki-hoon like a toy when we have the upper hand here? How can he be so arrogant and even attempt to negotiate at this point?
"Orders? Wha-" Ki-hoon was about to ask Han when suddenly, I felt overprotective.
"F*ck!" I shouted then grabbed the gun from Ki-hoon's hand. I immediately pointed it at Han's left leg. This is making me furious.
"Hey f*ck you! Stop playing Ki-hoon. Don't you think you're on the wrong here? He may not stomach killing you but I can. Or rather, do you want to lose your last remaining leg as well?" I said furiously.
To be honest, I'm shaking. I couldn't help but gulp. I'm scared and I also don't want to kill nor hurt anyone. It's not something I can just do relentlessly like it's nothing. But I'm serious. I can do it. It isn't new to me anyway.
Han then stared at me for quite a while then glanced at Ki-hoon. Then he began speaking, "Do you know this b*tch?"
F*ck. Is he ignoring me?
"Robber. You and your friend are both... interesting. " Han says.
"Jun-seok?! He's alive?! Where the f*ck is that as*hole?!" Ki-hoon asked.
