Lately, I'd always close my eyes to pretend that you're still next to me.
Oftentimes, I find myself unable to open my eyes anymore.
I long for you, Min-gi.However, I've changed now.
My emotional regulation. Is rock solid.
My eyes. I'd eventually need to open them and seek justice for the people I care for.
I won't falter.Han and I set out to hunt for Jun-seok. He seemed to be in cahoots with his old prison friend. The one he mentioned was supposed to bring us to Kenting, Taiwan. I shared this information to Han so we can easily track him down.
We prepared to storm out this gang's hideout. He is probably in here somewhere. It's that same abandoned building where we were supposed to wait by the docks to depart and meet our new life. Ironically, we did meet a new life. Just not the paradise we had in mind. Well as for me, I did meet paradise through an angel. But now, she's not here anymore. F*ck.
I'm coming for you, Jun-seok.
For Min-gi."Han, lay low. I'll handle this." I told him as we approach two gun men.
I was about to aim for their legs to disable them when suddenly, Han took shots. Headshots with his left hand? They both dropped dead. What the f*ck? How can he do that, handicapped and on his non-dominant hand?
"Lucky shot?" Han says scoffingly. Tch. Show-off.
With these shots fired, we heard more men approaching. They've been alarmed. I aimed defensively, ready for a fight to break out.
Han and I started gunning men that approaches while continously walking our way to look for Jun-seok.
Oddly, this is too easy. Han is one hell of a f*cking gunner. How'd we even attempt to run away from this maniac before?
A bullet grazed my cheeks.
Sh*t. Where'd that come from?"Are you looking for me?" someone shouted. Han and I both turned to aim.
"Ki-hoon?" he asked. It was Jun-seok.
"You're alive!" Jun-seok shouts. And I saw him aiming at Han.
I chuckled and yelled back, "Barely. I'm not the same Ki-hoon anymore, Jun-seok. F*cking prepare yourself."
"What a great reunion, indeed. Friends turned enemies. What a f*cking twist." Han began laughing uncontrollably and Jun-seok began raining gunshots towards our direction.
Han signaled that we separate directions to trap Jun-seok. I followed at his signals.
Jun-seok seemed really good at aiming firearms now. But I wonder. How good is he with close combat? With this in mind, I decided to place my gun back in my pocket and pull my knife out.
Han saw this. We exchanged glances and signals. As he continually guns down Jun-seok, I'll sneak up on him and engage for a f*cking fight. I'm coming for you, Jun-seok.
I stepped back to disappear from Jun-seok's line of sight. Sneaking in through the dark and waiting for my chance.
Before he could even notice me to aim his weapon, I tapped on his hand and his gun flew up. I swang my knife at him and he backed off. I caught his gun mid-air and pointed it at him.
He's now raising his hand walking slowly to distance himself from me.
"Ki-hoon... don't do this. We're friends. I've been waiting for you." Jun-seok says while his sweats fall down his face. His eyes glaring at me with a troubled expression.
Han then walked slowly towards us. As he does, I twisted my knife on my other hand and placed it back in my pocket. My other hand and eyes still never ceasing aim at Jun-seok.
