It's Been Ages

The news broke out again saying "The night patrols found two investigators named Toasts, and Braum in the woods, have died to unknown causes, but their heart no longer beat, no matter what the doctor tried, nothing seem to bring them back to life..."

Tv turned off by the remote.

"Moomm, why did you turn off the Tv?" Angels said

Miss Le said in her head "It's really been 7 years huh, after that last news 'Mom' saying two investigators were gone missing, one named Adam, while the other named Os, 'Mom!' surprisingly, there was no trace of their works and stuff anywhere in their office, 'Mom!!' but that's just what the police said."

"Mom!!!" Angels called out to Miss Le

Miss Le snap back to reality "No sweetie, you have to finish your food and go to bed for school tomorrow, it's your freshman year in 6 grade after all." Miss Le said.

"I'm not a kid anymore, I'm 11 years old mom." Angels replied.

"Not a teen yet that's all, so you're still a kid." Miss Le chuckled.

Also Miss Le "Now alright finish that dish, brush your teeth and go to bed sweetie."

"ookay..." Angels finished his dish and now started brushing his teeth before going to his room.

"Oh boy, that kid growing up to be really interested in mystery huh." Said Miss Le while chuckling. "That'll be an interesting career path he'll take when he reaches his age."

The next morning...

The day went by as school is as boring as it could get, but Angels manage to pull it through, and he has no friend, so he's basically a loner, also there's a girl being bullied in school, but Angels pay no mind, he doesn't want to get mixed up in a business he doesn't want.

At home, Angels did his homework and stayed inside mostly, Miss Le was still at work mostly during the day, and home by the night for dinner.

Angels don't remember much about his childhood, and what was it like, Angels could've easily asked his mom if she hasn't been too space out, it seem like something is bothering her, but for good intentions, Angels leave his mom out of it.

Night came, and his mom comes home to make dinner and eat, same goes for the next few days until one morning, on Friday, Angels actually help stop the bullies from bullying the poor girl whom she has been getting bullied for the past days, the story basically goes, girl was too smart said the bullies, and that she should've been born more dumb and stupid.

Honestly, the bullying was stupid, and the logic from that bully is stupid, everyone can't control what they're born to, but everything else was normal, the next day, and the day after that, the girl actually said thanks the next few days from helping her with the bullies and properly introduced herself to be Dorothy, 10 years old; Angels did the same, saying he's 11 years old, Dorothy then said that she'll be transferring school just so the bully would stop, Angels doesn't like the idea, but if it's for the best, then she should do it, Angels give her a little more courage before saying bye, transferring to a different school.

Angels know he won't be seeing his first-ever friend again, but he hopes one day he could meet her again.

A year went by, Angels is now 12 years old, 7 grade, everything's is normal, Angels even got his favorite subject to be in courses with(Piano), but nothing else really interesting happened either, even though it's a normal thing, Angels find it annoying to live this way, he wants action, fun, and activities beyond just sitting around the house doing nothing, so he did, he tries to go out of his house this time, knowing things like fun and actions that he so desire will come.

Midway through his traveling down on the road, opposite of the direction that he headed to school with, his tracks soon come close to a bare forest(the old investigators that gone missing office is just a block away from where Angels is heading.)

Right in front of him, there's a forest that has yellow warning signs all over it, saying Slender woods, dangerous, must not enter! Angels immediately got excited, then started to go inside(Angels didn't know that this forest was where those two investigators went missing, and the other two were dead.)

Angels kind of got chills when he step inside the forest, but he can't back out now, he must go further, so he did...

25 minutes in exploring...

40 minutes exploring...

An hour passed by...

Angels is now tired from exploring the woods, and lucky he has been going in a straight line so if he wanted to, he can go backward.

Angels turn around.

He started heading back to where he came from.

25 minutes...

40 minutes...

An hour passed by...

Angels is now confused it's getting dark, he can't be wrong, "I've been walking the same way I've walked in, why can't I seem to be getting out of here?" Angels getting frustrated...

Another hour passed, and Angels is stuck now, really stuck, he can't find his way out, and as just like any other 12 year old would do in this situation, they would cry calling their mama name and wanting to go home...

About 5 minutes later... dark out...

Angels now can't do anything much but regret, he shouldn't go out and wander into the woods where there is probably danger, Angels then wander randomly into the woods doesn't know where the line is anymore.

Suddenly hearing branches snap...

Angels turned but doesn't see anyone, so running was his first instinct in flight or fight mode...

He run and run, until he hit something, it was dark out so he couldn't see anything, first, he thought it was a tree, but it feel so... smooth? He thought to himself, he then touch it again, then flinches because it could be someone, he then look at the white thing on top of the smooth silky thing "it" was tall, it seem to that he could make out a face of some sort, "a pale face?" Is what Angels thought to himself, he is now scared, screaming, but then silent because the figure put a finger over Angels' mouth as a shush action... then Angels hear a sound, he thought it was just some static noises, but then he notices he could make out words of what the figure is saying... "you are special."...

Shock by the words, Angels jump and started to run the opposite way, but something tells him not to, so Angels just stand there paralyzed, waiting for possible death... minutes passed by and nothing happened, then the figure moved, Angels closed his eyes thinking the figure had ready to kill him... Angels then open his eyes to see a hand, he is surprised, seems like the figure wanted him to grab his hand, at first Angels hesitated because he doesn't know what to do, but it seem like he had no choice, so he grab the slender figure hand...
