Gaege's (Juicy's) POV
"Okay, just tell him how you feel, Gaege. It can't be that hard right? He's literally just going to reject you and you'll move on with your life, just like before."
I stared at myself in the mirror, taking a nervous breath in. My heart was already racing with the thought of talking to Eddie about what happened two days before. I needed to move out of their house now before things get worse.
An anxious feeling churned in my stomach, not entirely sure if I was doing the right thing. I couldn't help but wonder how he would react to me telling him I have feelings for him. It was a stupid idea and probably going to end badly, but I desperately needed to know how he felt towards me. I wouldn't be able to live without an answer to all the chaos happening between us. I needed to know if he felt the same connection I did every time I met eyes with him.
I needed to know. But I was afraid the truth would get out to Mully and destroy their relationship. At the same time, I needed to understand what the hell was going through Eddie's mind that day we kissed.
I washed my face with cold water, letting leak down my cheek and jaw. I tried to brush down my hair with my hands, but it was frizzy and all over the place. With a small shrug of my shoulder, I exited the restroom, grabbing my phone before heading downstairs.
"Gaege!" Mully was the first to greet me with a big smile, "Hey, you're up before Eddie. What a surprise."
"Eddie's not up yet?" I scratched my head, "Is he alright?"
"Yeah, I'm sure he's fine." Mully patted my shoulder, "I think he stayed up late last night, that's all."
I pressed my lips into a line, the thought of Eddie asleep making my cheeks turn red. I couldn't help it. It was a strange thought... a thought that hadn't crossed my mind since we were dating.
"I'm going to go check on him," I then told Mully, releasing that I shouldn't have said that. "Alright, get him up and tell him breakfast is ready," Mully didn't seem to notice my tense body as I quickly walked away.
When I got there, a lump was already forming in my throat. My heart couldn't stop beating, and I couldn't understand why I was reacting this way.
My shaky hands slowly opened the door knob, wincing when it creaked open. The room was dim, and it took me a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to the darkness before trailing over him.
He didn't have a shirt on, which was not helping my racing heart. His back muscles flexed as he shifted, and I licked my lips a little.
"This is so creepy, fuck." I slapped my forehead, muttering under my breath, "Just wake him up and get the fuck out of here..."
His soft breaths made me pause as I approached him, my hand just a few inches away from him.
He suddenly turned over so he was facing me, letting out a sigh before his eyes fluttered open. I froze on the spot, feeling my face instantly heat up when he furrowed his eyebrows at me.
"Gaege?" He said groggily, running his eyes with his hands, "Am I still dreaming?" His accent was much thicker when he was tired.
"You were... dreaming about me?" I raised an eyebrow, a quizzical look crossing over my face.
"Yeah..." Eddie caught himself before quickly shaking his head, "I mean no! No, that's not what I meant-"
"Just... it's fine. Ignore it," I cut him off before things could get awkward, shifting from foot to foot. "I actually wanted to tell you something-"
"What? I'm sorry my brain is really slow in the mornings," Eddie laughed, his smile making me turn even more red, "Can you say it again?"
I was quiet for a few moments, debating whether I should tell him I was developing feeling for him again. His eyes scanned my face, a puzzled expression beginning to form as tears swelled in my eyes. "Gaege...?" Eddie said softly, sitting up as I sniffed.
"No, it's fine," I began to say before he unexpectedly grabbed my arm. He pulled me down on the bed so I was sitting down next to him, inches away from his face. I couldn't help but realize he was still shirtless and his hand was on my thigh.
"Tell me what's bothering you," He said with a serious expression, his frown making me hot under his intense stare. "I-I..." I swallowed the lump in my throat, "You're very close to me."
"Do you not want me to be?" He whispered, making my eyes flicker down to his lips. "Eddie..." I shook my head, "No, you're teasing me on purpose."
"Yet you're not moving away, hm?" Eddie raised an eyebrow, "Now tell me, Gaege..."
I looked into his eyes, unsure of how to react to his words. The nervous feeling doubled, followed by curiosity of what he was going to do next.
"How do I make you feel?" He then asked, "Do you want me to move away? Or do you like the idea of me here with you instead of Mully downstairs?" A shiver ran down my back as he came near me, his lips hovering over my ear as he whispered, "And I know you know I'm tempting you. I am. But what are you going to do about it?"
My eyes widened when his hand slowly traced a line dangerously close to my crouch. Although before he could do anything more, I grabbed his hand, stopping him halfway in his tracks.
"Eddie, you know this is wrong," I couldn't stop staring at his hand, growing harder by the second, "This is cheating." Eddie stopped, pulling his hand away almost as quickly as it came. "I'm sorry," Eddie muttered, "I don't know what got into me." I grabbed his hand before he could move, "Wait!"
Eddie looked at me again, a slight look of surprise and guilt forming in his face. "I'm sorry too. I... I actually have feelings for you." The words spilled out of my mouth before I could stop them, making Eddie raise his eyebrows.
"You do...?" Eddie put his hand over his mouth, "Oh fuck, Gaege... No, no we can't do this." Eddie stood up, making me gasp.
"Really? You're leaving? Just like that?" I stood up after him, staring face to face again, "We need to talk about this!" Eddie waved his hand, "There's nothing to talk about. You brought out a side of me that I tried so hard to forget! Damn it!"
The sudden twist of emotions made me even more confused, but I grabbed his arm anyway. Even when he tried to pull away, I kept a firm grip. "Well you better fucking figure it out fast, Eddie." I said sternly, making him stop, "Because I'm leaving soon."
"What?!" Eddie's eyes widened, "You're lying." I shook my head, "Oh yeah? Watch me."
I let go of his arm, walking out the door even if I felt like I was going to puke from how nervous I was.
