A/N: Sry for such slow updates, my final exams are this week so studying and school has taken a huge chunk out of my time lately. But anyway, enjoy :)
Gaege's (Juicy's) POV
I stirred, hearing the bed creak as I shifted to my side. My hair was in my face, but I brushed it away with my hands. Squinting from the sunlight in my face, my eyes fluttered open, only to see Eddie wasn't in bed anymore.
The thought of last night was still fresh in my mind, especially how upset Mully was. This was all my fault. The guilt was extremely hard to bear, and it was barely eight in the morning.
The restroom door opening made me turn my head in its direction, only to see Eddie walking out with a towel around his waist. His hair was wet and slicked back as he brushed it out of his face. I couldn't help but admire the way his back muscles flexed as he stretched, a soft yawn escaping his mouth before his eyes met mine.
"Oh, you're finally awake," Eddie walked over to me before planting a soft kiss to my forehead. "Good morning."
I rubbed my eyes with a yawn, "Where's my shirt?" Eddie chuckled before picking up the black shirt from the floor, "Right here. I think it accidentally fell when we..." A smirk danced across his lips as he finished, "Well, you already know."
I threw on my shirt, ruffling my hair before looking back at Eddie. He wasn't looking at me, however, but rather at the photo of Mully and him at the beach. He picked up the small, golden frame from the bedside cabinet, frowning as he rubbed his thumb along the frame.
"Are you okay?" I asked quietly, my eyebrows angling up with concern. "I know yesterday was a little... eventful. If that's even the right word for it."
Eddie was silent for a moment, and I suddenly grew nervous about what he was going to say next.
"It's not your fault by the way," Eddie said lowly as he avoided my eyes. "It never was. It was my problem to begin with, and I shouldn't have dragged you into this mess. I'm so sorry."
I couldn't tell if his eyes were tearing up or if it was merely my imagination. I stood up and wrapped my arms around him nevertheless, burying my head in his shoulder with a sigh. "No, I pressured you into kissing me," I whispered, my lips skimming his soft, tan skin, "I should've never sneaked into your room yesterday night. I should've never even asked to stay at your place when I knew I had feelings for you still. I should've never even considered talking to you after our break up-"
Eddie's lips on mine halted the shameful string of words flowing from my mouth. My face flushed a dark shade of red before he pulled away slowly. "No, I don't ever regret talking to you," Eddie's sincerity made me swallow a lump in my throat as he added, "And even if we broke up a long time ago I..."
Eddie gulped, "I actually always had feelings for you. I love Mully, I really do, but I also want you in my life." Eddie shook his head, pulling away from me entirely with a frown. The ghost of his warm arms around me made a shiver run down my spine.
"And that's why we have to find Mully," I stated before Eddie could grow sad again. "You know him better than anyone. Where do you think he would be?"
Eddie thought for a few seconds before saying, "I might have an idea. I'll explain on the way."*Time skip*
My fist hovered over the familiar, black door, suddenly feeling like a stranger in a home I've visited several times. Even if I hadn't spoken to Josh in a while, we were still great friends. After this, however, I wasn't entirely sure if Josh would ever speak to me again. I would honestly have believed him if he called me a horrible person. What I did to Mully made a weight of guilt press down on me, and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to hold up any longer if I didn't find him soon.
I realized I had been standing at the door too long, and I knocked before anyone grew suspicious. There wasn't an answer for a few seconds, and I debated turning back around before hearing the door crack open.
Josh's familiar blue eyes met mine as he peeked his head out the front door. I suddenly didn't know what to say before hearing him answer, "I don't know what the hell you want, but he doesn't want to see you."
He was about to slam the door shut before I placed my hand on the door. "Please, Josh. I just want to talk to him!" I desperately held the door open even if Josh tried to close it on me. "Look, I'll explain everything just please, let me speak to him!"
We both stumbled into the house as he let go, but he slammed the door shut behind me. "It's going to take a lot of convincing to make me forgive you." Josh crossed his arms, his voice serious and unmoving, "You really hurt him, you know that?"
I bit my lip anxiously, pulling at my collar before answering, "I know. I don't blame you for not wanting to forgive me."
"And what about Eddie huh?" Josh took a threatening step forward, and I had no idea how someone smaller than me can be so terrifying. "Is he too much of a bitch to talk to Mully himself?"
I grimaced at Josh's tone of voice, but I answering slowly, "Look, we both split up to go searching for Mully. All I want to do is make things right between us and apologize for being such a dickhead to him. Just please, let me speak to him."
Josh searched my face for a few seconds, his hardened, angry expression softening slightly. His eyes flickered away before answering, "Fine. But if you hurt him again, I will-"
"Probably kill me? Go ahead, it'll make my life easier," I sarcastically retorted before heading to the guest bedroom.
I slowly creeped the door open, hoping Mully wouldn't be as upset as I thought he was. The room was dark with only a small source of light coming from the bed, and I peek my head in to see Mully on his phone. Even in the pitch darkness, I could still see his red, puffy eyes and trembling lips. He looked horrible, and it made me feel even worse knowing I had caused him to feel such a way.
It was until his eyes met mine did I realize how terrible of an idea it was to try and speak with him.
His eyes narrowed at the sickening sight of me by the doorway, and the fierce glare he shot me burned holes into my very soul.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
