"This is a pretty good story." Helly said. He hovered over Thomas as they read the new book Roy bought. They were watching the sunset as a celebration for Thomas's first rescue.
"I can't believe I had to pay for you." Roy said as Helly licked his ice cream. "Thomas I get but you? You have money"
"Hey. Free food. I'll take it." Helly responds. Thomas puts down the book and bites into his ice cream. He moved toward Roy and whispers.
"I was scared. I was lost around the island because the girl wanted me to make some friends."
"It's kind of a good thing that you got lost. You really did save us. Now it doesn't mean you can come to all our rescues but you gave it you're all." Roy responds by lifting a tire to Pat Thomas. He giggles
"We can try hose training tomorrow. I still need you to get used to water being inside. And also knowing the difference between different fire combinations. Gas fires don't use water." Roy said.
"Alright." Thomas stays close and watches the sun set. He takes another lick of his ice cream and snuggles into his older brother
Today was great. He couldn't wait for tomorrow
