A young recruit meets the people he was fated to ally with.

It was 2028, mid-april, and Nicolas Klovaski was nothing more than a simple man from a simple family. They weren't rich, or powerful, or had good connections. In fact, Nick didn't even know his own parents.

In his youth, he was sent to live with his grandma who lived in America. When he first came of age and also passed his training, Nick enlisted in the Global Activity Management, Maintain and Assistance Corporation (or GAMMA for short). It’s an elite special forces division that is basically armies from all over the world coming together to create what was essentially one massive army.
It was founded under the jurisdiction of Arachne Laboratories shortly after world peace was officially achieved in 2020, and since it’s purpose was to keep the people of earth safe from natural disasters, petty terrorism, and many other major conflicts.

Nick arrived at a large outpost at a classified location in a red truck. He approached the entrance and saw a man at the front. “Papers please,”
Nick hesitantly placed his passport and identification documents in front of the man, who was quick to take them and read them over. “Oh, you must be the new guy,” He opened the door.

“Where do I go from here?” Nick asked.

“Go to the hospital, don't worry you can't miss it, and say you're Nicolas Klovaski. They'll take it from there.”

Nick grabbed his backpack and was on his way. He was excited, scared, and also felt nauseous. It didn’t take him long to find the hospital the guy was talking about. He went inside and approached the front desk.

“Hi, I’m Nicolas Klovaski; new guy.”

“Perfect timing,” the woman picked up the phone, and dialed a staff member, “Hey, Mr. Klovaski is here, should I send him over to you?..... Okay, thanks, bye”

She then hung up.

“Alright, follow me,” she got up and guided Nick down the hall.

“My name is Hailey Culbertson. I’m in charge of providing assistance for people when they first enter the hospital. I greet people when they enter and determine how we can help them. If you have any medical issues, call me and I’ll set up an appointment for you.”

“Sounds good,”

Hailey took Nick’s papers from him. “Oh good, you already did your physical. We can skip that,”

“Yeah, I didn’t want to start off my military career by having my-” She shushed him.

Hailey was about to open a door, when another soldier walked out.

“Oh, sorry,” He said, “Thanks again, Doc!” He yelled back.

“You’re welcome, Ethan, and remember if Deckard gets out his magic kit, just leave the room,” The doctor said, who Nick could hear was a woman.
She had blonde hair and an eye patch, and spoke in a slight Swedish accent.

She turned to Hailey and Nick, “Hello, I’m Dr. Von Durgen,” She shook Nick’s hand, and took his medical journal from Hailey

“Do you need anything else?” Hailey asked.

Dr. Von Durgen quickly looked over his papers, “I’ll let you know if I need anything, Dear.”
