"I'll come willingly," Ezra said as she walked towards Ryder with her hands in the air.

Ryder growled as he pulled a pair of handcuffs from his pocket. Ezra allowed his to cuff her hands behind her back, praying he would walk out after.

"Search the home."

"No," Ezra rushed. "There's no one here. I broke in."

Ryder laughed at her as he told his men to look around. Ezra tried to get out of Ryders hold on her arms, but he held her tight. Seeing one of his men go into the bedroom, Ezra fought harder.

"Looks what we have here," One of the men said as he yanked Debbie out of the bedroom.

The old woman fell to the floor on her knees. Her eyes were teary as she looked around at the men with guns.

"Don't hurt her. She was just trying to take care of me," Ezra pleaded. "She doesn't know who I am or what any of this is."

Still holding onto Ezra, Ryder pulled his gun from its holster. His arm raised to arm it at the old woman's trembling body.

"Ryder please," Ezra begged. "She knows nothing. She didn't do anything."

"She helped you escape from me," Ryder growled.

"I showed up here. It's my fault," Ezras eyes stayed glued on Debbie as she spoke. "Don't punish her. It's my fault."

"I know it's you're fault," Ryder whispered in Ezras ear. "So her death is in your hands."

In the next moment Ryder pulled the trigger. Ezra gasped as the bullet went straight through the old woman's head. Ezra mouth hung open in shock as she watched Debbie's body fall to the floor.

Not being able to hold herself up, Ezras knees crumbled beneath her. Ryder let her fall to her knees as he watched. While the rest of the men filed out of the building, Ezra sat and stared at Debbie. Tears rested in her eyes, but she didn't allow them to fall.

"You're a fucking monster," Ezra spat. "That's why I tried to get away from you."

Ryder grabbed the girls arm, pulling her up to face him.

"You just keep digging yourself a bigger grave," He said shaking his head.

Ezra stayed silent as she was pulled down the steps. Her jaw was still hung open as Ryder pushed her into the car. Ryder slid in next to her and the driver drove off.

As Ezra stared out the window, all she could see was Debbie's face with a bullet through her forehead. She could only imagine what her daughter would think when she would find her mother dead in her living room. Closing her eyes, Ezra refused to let any tears fall.

Her eyes opened when she felt the car stop. Ryder was quick to pull the girl from the car and take her inside the mansion. Once inside, he pushed her to the ground. His foot shot out to kick the girls stomach repeatedly. Ezra whimpered at the pain while trying to curl away from him.

"Why did you leave?" Ryder yelled at her as he crouched down in front of her face. "Were you stupid enough to think we wouldn't find you?"

Ezra stared up at him, her nose and mouth bleeding from one of his kicks. She spat bloody saliva at him.

"You're not worth giving an explanation."

Ryder slapped the girl, making her head hit the wooden floor. Grabbing her arm, he pulled her towards the basement. Realizing where she was going, Ezra tried pulling away from him.

"You won't get out of this punishment," Ryder growled, throwing Ezra over his shoulder.

"Let me go!" She screamed as she wriggled.
