"Why couldn't I wait back at the house? Or even why can't I wait in the car?" Ezra questioned while Ryder unwillingly pulled her out of the vehicle.

"I want you by my side," Ryder said as he wrapped his arm around Ezras waist.

"Why do I always have to be by your side?" Ezra growled as he pulled her towards the large warehouse.

"Because I like you there."

Ezra stopped talking as they walked into the crowded warehouse. Everywhere around her people moved to get a shipment from a boat. Ryders eyebrows furrowed when he saw his shipment.

"Why is this here?" Ryder asked a random woman as she walked by wheeling a crate of cocaine.

"The shipment came early and Xanader called us all in."

Ryder nodded and allowed her to get back to work. He then moved through the warehouse as he inspected his shipments. Ezras eyes wandered around the warehouse at the moving pallets of drugs and weapons. Her mind started to wander off until she heard a scream.

At the back of the warehouse where they now stood, Ezra could see the opening to the outside where the ship was docked. Coming into the warehouse was a line of girls. Each wore dirty closest and had their hands cuffed in front of them. The cuffs were connected to a chain around the waist of the girl in front of them. Many of the girls cried while some screamed and tried to run.

Ezras blood boiled as she stared at the girls, all around her age. Her hands balled into fists as she watched the gang members pull the girls towards a room in the back corner of the warehouse.

Ryder, finally seeing what Ezra was looking at, tried to pull her away. Ezra stood strong as she watched the girls be lead into the room. She wanted to yell at Ryder for the terrible thing he was doing. She wanted to cry for the girls who's lives would become living hells.

Ryder finally moved at stand in front of Ezra. His body blocked the view of the girls. Ezra stared at his chest, avoiding his eyes.

"I didn't want you to see that," Ryder said quietly.

"Well I did," Ezra whispered.

Ryder shook his head as he pulled Ezra away from the room where the girls had been taken. He took her to the office where the meeting had been before. Ezra fumed as she was forced to sit and listen to everyone at the table talk about the drugs, weapons and girls.

It wasn't long until it was over and Ezra was out in the car with Ryder. She sat silently facing the window while Ryder drove.

"I told you I didn't mean for you to see that. I didn't know the shipment would have come that early."

"That means nothing to me," Ezra said. "You're still trafficking girls."

"So are the Knights," Ryder replied. "So don't act like you're all high and mighty."

"I didn't know they were trafficking girls," Ezras voice rose. "If I did, I would have stopped it."

Ryder rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything else. Once they were back at the mansion, Ezra ran up to Ryders room. She hurried to the bathroom to shower before Ryder could make it upstairs.

After she showered and wrapped herself in a towel, Ezra noticed a dress on the toilet where she had placed her clothes. The rest of her clothes were gone except for her undergarments. The girl cringed knowing Ryder had walked into the bathroom and she hadn't noticed.

Ezra dried her skin and put on the dress. It was a blue dress with a triangle top. It flowed out a little at the bottom, not being skin tight. Stepping out of the bathroom, Ezra saw Ryder in a tux with a tie matching the color of the dress.
