When Ezra woke the next morning, her body still ached like it had the night before. She kept her eyes closed, not wanting to face the day. Only when she heard shuffling next to her did she open her eyes. When she did, she saw the blue eyes of Ryder. Groaning, the girl turned the other way.

"Good morning to you too," Ryder said sarcastically.

He got out of bed, leaving Ezra, and went to the shower. Once she was sure he was gone, Ezra left the bed. She hurried across the hall to her own room. Changing from Ryders shirt, she threw it out of her room towards his door. Ezra put on her own clothes that were still packed in her suitcase. Staring at her suitcase for a moment, Ezra sighed. Ignoring them, she got into her own bed.

A few days had gone by where Ezra barely saw Ryder. He would stop in her room to give her assignments then quickly leave. This time when Ryder came to give her the papers it was later in the day. She was sitting at her desk watching a movie on her computer when the file was put in front of her eyes.

"You're late today," Ezra said as she opened the file.

"That's because we're doing some field work," Ryder explained. "We're going to a gala tonight. All of the most powerful people in Britain will be there and you will be coming with me."

"You're going to kill someone at this big of an event?" She questioned.

"No, you're going to try to get information from him," Ryder clarified.

"What kind?" Ezra sat up, now intrigued.

"Another gang has been stealing my shipments and I believe there is an inside man. I also think your target knows who runs the gang. On your first mission I had gotten a lead on the gang and I was looking into it." Ryder explained. "The new gang is dangerous and part of the reason I needed you in my gang. I believe they're trying to take me down."

Ezra sat wide eyed as she absorbed all of the information. She knew the Cobras would have enemies, but not one that seemed to be a big threat.

"All I need you to do is get me information about this new gang. Names, places, anything," Ezra nodded at his request. "Be ready at six. There's a dress in the closet."

Ryder hurried out of the room as Ezra wondered when a dress was put in her closet. Then she remembered she had yet to go into the closet. Ezra headed to the door and opened it. Inside she found a large walk in closet stocked with clothes. Her mouth fell open as her hand flipped through the hangers. One item of clothing was covered in a laundry bag. Unzipping it, Ezra was shocked to see a fancy dress. The flowing gown was green with lace details.

Leaving the closet, Ezra went to her desk with the file in hand. Looking through it, she saw a picture of the man. He was young and attractive. His name was Leo and no last
name was available. From the information given, Ezra saw that he was the middle man for many smaller gangs and used to work with Ryder. He would give gangs names of suppliers and help them get the best product.

Ezra began thinking of questions to ask the man. Somehow she needed to figure out if he was a supplier for an unknown gang. Groaning, Ezra wracked her brain for possible questions.

Eventually she started getting ready for the gala. She curled her hair, pulling half of it up with a hair tie. Two strands framed her face that she had covered with makeup. Carefully, the girl put on the green dress. It was floor length and flowy. The back wasn't low, meaning the healing bruises wouldn't be seen.

Leaving her room, Ezra walked to the front door. Waiting near it was Ryder in a fancy suit. He smirked when he saw Ezra in the elegant gown.

"Ready to go, Miss Nightly?" Ryder asked as he held out his arm.
