The first scene here had Scott taking Emily shopping were he helps her choose shoes.
The second scene switched the point of view to Emily as she recounted to her friend, Jessica, that she might go to bed with Scott.
The whole book is written from Scott's point of view (his thoughts etc) alongside Emily's point of view (her inner desires etc). In this way I can show the different attitudes and thoughts of each of the two main characters.
