When I write on wattpad, chapters get added every week. I take note of any comments to help improve the plot. When the story completes, I find 7/8 beta readers to read the manuscript with a critical eye. They report back on plot holes, things I can't say or things that don't make sense.
These reports enable me to change paragraphs, add sections, improve this and that. And so I end up with a polished manuscript to send to my editor.
