Chapter 9

*Katy's POV*

"So you don't want to be my best friend again?" He asked, tears in his eyes.

I sighed and walked out of his room.

"Goodbye Niall."

With that I stepped outside Niall's room, Niall's house and hopefully Niall's life. I just wasn't over him yet. I need space.

*Niall's POV*

I heard the door shut and I knew, that Katy has left and that she weren't about to come back soon. I fell back on my bed and lye there for about 4 hours. Then the boys came upstairs and asked me if I would come with them in a club, to clear my mind from Katy. I agreed and put on some grey chinos and a navy polo.

After about 15 minutes driving we finally arrived at the club. There were pretty much people, but luckily no one recognised us. The boys tried to perk me up, but I just wasn't in the mood.

Inside, I went to the bar while the lads were on the dance floor. After only a few minutes, Harry had found a girl to snog with, one of those blond bimbos with a too short skirt and a too low-cut top. I don't know how anyone could find someone like this fit or pretty.

Zayn talked in the lounge to Liam, because he don't like dancing, and Louis had fun on the dance floor. I was here alone and had about my third shot. Then I saw someone in the crowd dancing with a familiar face. I looked at her and recognised her. It was Katy! She wore a bordeaux dress with some black heels and she was dancing with a good looking, brown haired and blue eyed boy. They danced pretty close and I could see that she enjoyed it, much to my dismay. She looked a bit drunk an the guy took her by her wrist and pulled her in the direction of the bar. She sat down and ordered one more drink, turned around and kissed the boy. I realised that I was staring at her and looked in another direction. The music was very loud, but I could still hear Katy's moans from beside me. I tried to ignore them, but it just wasn't possible. I love this girl, and she was here beside me,snogging with another boy!

I looked back in Katy's direction and she sat now on this boys lap while he was kissing her neck. I stood up and made my way over to the two of them.

"Ahem." I made an awkward noise and the guy looked up at me. Right then, I punched him in his face. He yelled out in pain and his nose started bleeding. Katy looked at me with a furious look on her face. Het lips were swollen and all over her neck were love bites. Her hair was a mess and her make up too.

She still looked beautiful.

The boy stood up and stepped closer to me.

"What's your problem mate?!" He yelled at me and the entire club was staring at me.

"That was my girlfriend you was snogging with!" I yelled back with anger in my voice. I clenched my fists, and was about to punch him again, but then Katy started yelling too.

"No! No, he's not! I don't know him!" She shot me a death glare and pulled the boy away from me.

"Katy, wait! You do know me!"

But she was lost in the crowd of dancing people. The lads were by my side and tried talking to me, but I didn't listened them.

I need Katy, and I will get her, no matter what.

*Katy's POV*

God! How embarrassing! Everybody was staring at me when Niall punched Nathan in his face. I mean, who do he think he is? I have said him that I don't want his friendship anymore, and then he tells Nathan, probably the hottest boy I've ever seen he was my boyfriend?!

Nathan's nose was still bleeding and I took him at my house to clean it up. Niall punched him pretty hard and I could see how angry and hurt he was seeing me with him. But he deserved it.

Nathan asked me the whole way hime questions about Niall, if I knew him, if I was his girlfriend, if we'd had a thing and stuff like that. I don't told him that I knew Niall or that we were been best friends. It would only make him upset and then I probably didn't have a chance with him anymore.

At my house, I cleaned his hurts and then we looked a film. I wad wrapped in his arms and my eyelids became heavier and heavier and I was about to drift off to sleep, but the doorbell rang. My head was placed in Nathan's lap and he smiled down at me. I smiled back and he gave me a peck on the lips. Then someone knocked pretty constant on the door and shouted

"Katy, please open. I know you're there, I can see your car." A muffled voice came from the front door.

I stood up and went towards the door. I opened it and the five boys stumbled in. They all started talking together and I didn't understand anything.

"Babe, who is it?" Nathan's voice came from the living room. "Do you need me?"

Aww! he was so careful.

"No, it's alright!" I shouted back and all the boys have stopped talking and looked at me with embarrassed faces.

"What do you make here?!" I whisper yelled at them and they all looked puzzled. Harry was the first one who spoke

"Uh.. You looked pretty upset when you got outside the club and.. uh..we wanted to know if you were alright." All the boys blushed and I chuckled at their reactions.

"I'm fine, Nathan is here." I said glaring at them and I was about to close the door, when Niall started speaking

"Katy, why do you say that you don't know me and take some random guy at your house? This isn't the Katy I know!"

I smiled sarcastically and answered him

"You know, Niall, the old Katy had disappeared when you left. I don't want anyone to hurt me that badly again, so I just don't speak to anyone anymore or make me new friends! I've changed and you're the reason for it!" I shouted at him and I was really angry with him. I had just forgot about him and then he came back. This isn't fair!

"Katy, I though we were dating now!" Now Zayn was shouting at me too.

I just chuckled

"Are you fucking kidding me? I didn't even knew you and you just kiss me! Everything I knew about you was, that your name is Zayn and then you just kiss me! What's wrong with you?" Wow, this was pretty mean, but it was true!

He was now very embarrassed and Niall shot him death stares. All the other boys were now staring at me with unreadable looks in their faces. I think no one had thought that I could be that mean.

"You sure that you're alright?" Nathan asked again and I smiled at his sweetness and I answered that I'm fine.

The boys were about to leave and I was happy that they did. I just need to clear my head from them. I realised that I was maybe a little bit too bad and I decided to tell them that I just need some space. They all nodded and looked a little bit less hurt.

I went back to Nathan who was watching a film. I cuddled in his chest. Maybe Nathan was the distraction I needed.

We would see.

Then I drifted of to sleep.

"Niall, I love you so much!"

"I love you too, Katy!"

We kissed each other passionately and then strong arms pulled me away from him. I screamed, but no one could hear me.

Then all the pictures of Niall singing on X Factor came on my mind: how he auditioned, the boot camp, him with the boys and then all the screaming girls on the street when he came home.

All the times I cried because of him and all the hurt I felt because of him were in my mind. I started crying again and I could see all the beautiful memories of mine and Niall's childhood like it was yesterday.

I woke up in my bed and I sat up.

Maybe I wasn't over Niall yet.
