Uva watched disinterestedly as Annabel kept rearranging the four scroll pieces on the table. "There are only four pieces. You should be able to this in one go." Uva commented.

"Why don't you try then?" Annabel shot back.

Uva almost effortlessly arranged the pieces. Then, looked up Annabel smugly. Annabel frowned then smirked.

"Not bad for an underling."

"My DNA comes from a bounty hunter and an evil genius. It's really nothing." Uva retorted.

"Great! It's finished! Uh, what does it say?" Antonio chimed in.

"I'm not familiar with this language." Annabel mused. "Any ideas, Underling?"

Uva glared. She was tired of playing nicely and answering to "Underling."

"Uva, please. We need to know." Antonio interjected.

Uva thought for a minute. Antonio seemed nice, but Annabel was a different story. Additionally, this action would cross the line. If she told them what language this was, she would betray Segunda. Before she could decide, Annabel spoke up.

"It must be a language Segunda would know. I know she has Zhan Tiri's DNA. I could be ancient Coronan."

"If that's the case, we should head to Corona." Antonio reasoned.

"It's our best bet. We'll need a translator of some sort." Annabel continued.

Antonio and Annabel continued to conceive a plan for figuring out how to translate the scrolls while Uva sat contemplating her options. Segunda wasn't here now. It could be advantageous to be on the other experiments' good sides; however, they may never accept her. What did they really offer her besides Blaze not killing her? Antonio's voice pulled her out of her thoughts.

"Hey Uva, I know you don't have much reason to help, but I hope you'll change your mind. You may find you like being one of us. It's never too late to start a new path."

Uva's eyes widened a little. Without thinking, she answered. "Segunda wrote the scrolls in ancient Coronan. There's only one other person besides her who can read it." She stopped herself. How could she have just let that slip? "Stupid Antonio being nice." She muttered under her breath.

Antonio smiled. "That's settles it. We're going to Corona!"

"I'll keep the scroll safe. Antonio, you get to watch the Underling." Annabel ordered then left with the scroll.

"She'll come around. AB just needs time before she trusts anyone." Antonio reassured. "Well, let's get you to your room." Antonio led Uva to a mansion and dragged her to a room. "Goodnight! Oh, just remember Blaze will hunt you down if you run away. Thankfully for you, Mamoru is too busy doing prince stuff, but the rest of us will catch you... or worse. That aside, I'm sure you'll stay put 'til morning. Night again." Antonio closed the door and walked to his room.

Uva flopped onto the bed inside the large room. Antonio was a puzzle. He seemed nice and yet a little concerning. Annabel was kind of rude but had a good wit. If she wasn't an enemy, they might have been friends Uva thought. She went to sleep with the day's events running through her head. Tomorrow would be another interesting day.
