The battle marked the end of superiority as the Demons of Tsushima were cut down by the newest but overpowered Hashira. Jin Sakai, the Ghost Pillar, stands before the last sibling of demons. Jin was thinking about how he should go about this. He is now the one who will ultimately decide her fate.
"Ayumi, the last Demon of Tsushima, for what you have done of harming and killing innocents. I have no choice but to kill you so that none may die under you." Jin said.
"I will accept death if it means I will see my brothers again." Ayumi agreed.
"But before that, there is something I must know. Tell me who you are and the of you becoming a demon. I have to know how you met Muzan and the confidence that drove you to this madness." Jin asked.
"I will. The memories that I hold aren't all good ones. Especially after I turned into a demon. After I tell you, I will accept my punishment." Ayumi said.

During the early nights of the invasion of Tsushima, Ayumi was but a girl who was doing normal stuff she had been doing for a while. Along with her two brothers Aki and Sowa, they lived north of Tsushima. The home they inhabited was given to them by their parents after they died. She cooked, clean, and was the one taking care of her brothers. Sowa was running off with the Ronin trying to make name for himself. Aki on the other hand used his burly muscles to do most of the labor tending to anything that requires muscle. Of course, the times they would be together were sitting around a table with plenty of food that the siblings had gathered.
That was the life she had known until that fateful night and the days that followed. The Mongols tore through villages and towns raiding and killing everyone in sight. They passed by their home when they started to burn their house. Sowa and Aki attempted to put up a fight but were quickly subdued while Ayumi screamed and kicked at her oppressors. What followed was a series of beatings, torture, and anything painful was carried upon them. Ayumi had been taken advantage of when it was discovered she could sew. They put her to work by having her make them their armor and clothing. She was granted a few things as long as she did what she was told.
All the while her island burned and cabbage to the ground. She later heard that her brothers suffered terribly. Sowa's hands were cut off when he tried to attack them with a katana. Aki was put to vigorous labor and subject to tireless beatings. Days turned into weeks as the siblings ended up as prisoners of war with no hope in sight. Ayumi thought of nothing but despair as samurai were killed and no one was coming for them.
Until she heard ramblings and chatters throughout the camp. She could not make out what they were saying but one word kept repeating.
"The Ghost"
There was a hidden fear cast upon every Mongol that even spoke of the name. From then on, the camp remained on high alert by having more patrols and guards everywhere. After a few days, a different Mongol warlord came to camp and rounded up every prison they had. Ayumi, Sowa, and Aki along with a few others were tied and brought for the warlord. He inspected them like animals when he set his sights on the three siblings. He approached and crouched in front of Ayumi to lift her face.
"You'll do fine for what we have to do. The perfect monster and beautiful creature to gaze upon our enemies." He said.
He called for Ayumi and her brothers to be rounded up where the torture began. Neither of them what they wanted or why they were doing this. They were subjected to a thousand cuts as they screamed for each other. Ayumi saw can hear her brothers' screams and shouts which devastated her to the core. The pain she felt was nothing compared to her broke heart for her family. She hung in a tent while they cut here quickly but not methodically either. It felt like an eternity that will not end.
