I met with Kagaya along with his daughters at his side. I sat on my legs across from him. I laid my blade out in front of me in respect for him.

"Jin. It's been a while since we could talk in this manner." Kagaya said.

"Sorry. I've been focused on the training that I did not have time to meet you." I apologized.

"No the fault is mine. There is a growing number of demon sightings all across the country. I had to be on constant alert for any new information on Muzan and other demon activities." Kagaya told.

"That's why I have asked for this meeting. I was wondering if I could be out on the field." I asked.

"Mhm... Certain things must be done first before you can be given a mission. But then again you are the exception. Tell me about your breathing style." Kagaya requested.

I then listed what I had created.

"Derived from my skills as a samurai I created the Ghost Breathing Style."

"Apparition Assault..."

"Dancing Flare..."

"Stone Mountain Slam..."

"Stone Piercing Rush..."

"Water Surging Strike..."

"Ever Flowing Water..."

"Wind Typhoon Breaker..."

"Hidden Eclipse..."

"And finally Ghost's Embrace..."

I listed off in order from the first one I created. The last one would technically be my third but I instead put it as the last and most powerful form.

"Interesting. You were able to create these forms in such a short amount of time." Kagaya pondered.

"I already was a skilled samurai so that helped me. Also, I can learn relatively quickly." I said.

The discussion veers to how I and what I did in my time of recovery and training. I gave the basic story of how the butterfly mansion and its people had a real effect on me. I told him how I gave them advice to the two older ones about what I knew. He was pleased with how my influence could affect them in the future.

"I came to ask if I could formally take on missions as a Hashira. I believe it's time to put in the work I have learned." I declared.

"I won't argue with that. I believe that your time as a standing pillar of the demon slayer corps is ready. But be before you can take on missions have you been assigned a crow." Kagaya said.

"Uh... Crow?" I asked bemused.

"Yes. Each slayer is appointed a crow that can give missions and alert you of any urgent news. A helpful sign of your association." Kagaya explained.

"You know when Shinobu was explaining to me that crows would the main source of communication and could talk. I thought she was messing with me. She told it like it was a joke." I bantered

"I'm sure that she meant no offense. Nonetheless, here is yours." Kagaya announced.

A black crow came flying through a window then landed right on my shoulder. My face itched from it being next to my face. It fluffed then picked at its feathers like this was not the first time this bird sat on my shoulder.

"So this bird will assign my missions?" I said unsure.

"Caw!" Crow shouts.

I cautiously guided my hand towards this crow. I gave a little scratch near its neck that cawed at my response. A burd companion I would have never thought of having. Then again the Mongols had their hawks to alert and call out their enemies.
