Author's POV

The two teenagers left the store after fighting for who will pay for their orders, which in the end was paid by Yunho resulting in a grumbling Nari.

"So," Yunho began as they walked around the park, "where should we go next?"

Nari looks at him with one of her eyebrows raised in confusion.

"I mean, I don't think San would let you in the house if you come back now."

"And why is that?"

"Because- um.." He scratches his nape nervously, trying to find an excuse.

"What?" Now, Nari is more confused that ever. The lad stares at her with a surprised expression.

"You figured out about me and my brother being involved with San that day yet you have no idea what day it is today?"

"Huh-? Well, today is sunday isn't it? It's just another weekday... What's so special about today?"

Yunho could only stare at the girl with eyebrows knitted and a concerned face.

"What...?"

The lad shakes his head, holding Nari's hand while giving her a smile.

"Let's go at the mall."

San's POV

"Like this?"

"No, no. Move it a little bit to the right."

The brunette silently grumbles on his breath before changing his position and moving the 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR LOVELY FLOWER' banner to the right.

"This?"

I stare at the banner, trying to see if it is aligned at the center of the wall.

"Hm.. I think it's centered now," Yeosang sighs in relief before tying the strings of the banner to the nails attached to the light grey wall. He climbs down the ladder, stretching his arms when he stepped foot on the floor.

"Ugh, my arms are killing me," Jongho stares at him.

"You're not dead," the brunette stops stretching and glares at the younger, his arms resting on his waist.

"Shut up, it was exaggeration Bear," he emphasizes. The younger lad just rolled his eyes and continued with blowing the balloons with the air pump.

San hums, crossing his arms thinking while looking at the banner.

"Well, we still have to attach the balloons on each side of the banner-"

"What?!"

Author's POV

The mall was busy as usual in the weekends. Families, friends, and even couples are seen strolling around the shops. Some are walking alone, focused on their phones yet surprisingly not bumping to anyone on their way.

Nari looks around the place, amazed by the christmas decorations (Did I mention that it's december?) that surrounds every store. She was so distracted that she would've bumped into the old lady in a wheelchair if not for Yunho holding back her shoulders to stop her before it happens.

"Easy there, have you not been into a mall before?" The lad asks her in a teasing tone.

Nari stares at Yunho for a few seconds. Looking a bit embarrassed to answer the question, she shrugs off the hands holding her steady and looks away with arms crossed.

"Obviously I have, but not when it's almost christmas and there's a ton of decorations." She angrily huffs.

Christmas...

Her eyes widened as she just realized what might have been today is. She looks at Yunho with an unreadable face which concerns the lad.

"Um, are you oka-"

"It's the ninth of December, isn't it?" She asked in a soft tone.

Yunho looks into her eyes, already figured that she must've found out by now. "Well, yeah-"

"How the fuck did you know it's my birthday and I didn't?!"

A few people walking by stared at them because of Nari's shouting. Yunho stares at her, shocked with the fact that he just witnessed the girl she's been interested for days say a cursed word and the fact the it was directed at him. Nari takes a deep breath and grips his arm, pulling him with her. Once the bystanders sense that nothing's wrong, they continued walking and went on with their business.

"Hey- Where are we going?!" A still stunned Yunho frantically ask the girl pulling her. He noticed she's pulling him outside the mall. When they were out in the open, Nari stops and lets go of the taller man.

"We are going back." She stares at Yunho intimidatingly. The lad bites his lower lip and looks away her burning eyes. Eventually, he sighs and lets her go back home.

San's POV

"Ah.. Finally." I fall on the couch with a soft thump, taking a deep breath for the first time since morning. Closing my eyes, I hear the birds chirping outside the mansion even when it's not dawn anymore.

"Tsk, tsk. We're not done yet, you rat."

Yeosang's voice breaks my tranquil state and pulls me out of the couch.

"Ow- what the fuck? Aish!" I was about to smack the hell out of the brown-haired boy when a message suddenly dinged on my phone.

Slenderyun 🕺

We have a problem
She's figured it out and we're going back home on her orders
Seen 3:47 pm

"Shit." I cursed on my breath and quickly typed a reply to Yunho.

"What is it?" Yeosang ask, attempting to peek at my messages but failed.

"They're heading back." I tell him.

"What?! Shit- we're done for!" Jongho exclaims, coming out of the kitchen after hearing what I said. I sighed and sat back on the couch.

"If you had just stopped slacking then we would've been done a long time ago." Yeosang huffs in disbelief.

I glared at the older. "Hey! It's not my fault you kept shoving orders right at my face! This person needs some rest after all that too-"

Knock, knock, knock.

"Choi San, Kang Yeosang, Choi Jongho. Open the door right now!"
