I'm laughing awkwardly as I type this as it's been quite a bit since I've last shown my face around here – aside from reading, voting, and adding stories to my library, of course.

I started reading ACOTAR in late 2015 as I was waiting for the next TOG book to release and loved Sarah's work. Rhysand and Feyre's relationship has helped me get through some shitty ones of my own and has allowed me to have an end goal for my partner and I.

I am happy to say I've found my Rhys (although he is much more an Azriel and I'm definitely not complaining about that!) and have been managing my major depressive disorder and anxiety day by day. Having creative energy once again to channel somewhere led me to all my drafted fanfics, and viola! I decided to say f*ck it and publish my Rhys X OC one first :)

We'll start off in the middle of ACOTAR just before Calanmai and move forward from there. Italicized paragraphs indicate a flashback scene.
The first chapter starts out heavy, so please make sure to read the warnings before continuing the story if this is something that may affect you.

This is a MATURE story with adult themes such as violence, explicit language, sexual scenes, mental disorders, and alcohol.

My OC, Aristella, struggles with depression and anxiety, which includes spiraling thoughts, panic attacks, detachment, and all the other *fun* symptoms that come with the two mental disorders.
