I groaned loudly at the sound of my alarm blaring right next to my ears. I groggily smacked the snooze button and dragged myself out of the bed. First day of school, I thought. Aw shit.

"LEA! ARE YOU AWAKE? OR DO YOU WANT ME TO COME UP THERE?" my mom's voice echoed through the house.

"I'm up, mother. I'm up" I grumpily replied.

I looked at my reflection on the mirror. My wavy brunette hair wasn't so wavy anymore; it looked more like a bird's nest. My pink pouty lips were chapped as ever and my hazel colored eyes looked dull as usual. I glanced at the clock behind me. Well shit, so much for a good first impression. Late on the first day of school! Smooth, Lea. Real smooth.

I quickly ran into the bathroom and stripped. I jumped into the icy cold-water shower and squealed. I hurriedly washed my hair with Vanilla Cocoa shampoo. I changed into my favorite pair of black skinny jeans, my favorite Rolling Stones tank and leather jacket. I shoved a pair of Nike dunks while hopping around. I quickly grabbed my bag pack and mobile and sprinted down the stairs.

"Lea Michaels! Do you know what time it is?" my mom scolded pointing at the watch.

"Yes, mom! I know! Okay bye now!" I quickly said grabbing a toast and kissing her cheek.

I started briskly walking to school and in the matter of fifteen minutes I was there. The school didn't look any different from my previous school in fact it all looked a bit too familiar for my liking. Ignoring my thoughts, I ran up to the admins office, where I saw a lady typing in full speed on her computer not even looking down. Damn, them skills.

"Hi, I'm Lea Mikaelson. I'm new here." I said politely to the lady behind the desk. After a good ten seconds of eyeing me up and down.

She finally replied saying,  "Ah, you must be the transfer student from London! You're late, young lady!"

"I'm sorry." I sheepishly replied.

"Well no worries, here's your schedule and the map of the school. Welcome to Westfield High!" She said politely handing me the papers.

"Oh well if it isn't Hunter." The lady said diverting her attention to the boy passing by.

"Morning Helen." The boy said winking at her.

"You're late. Again." She said in frustration.

"Tell me something I don't know, Miss Helen." He said cockily grinning at her.

"Well, since you're here. You might as well be of some use. Lea here is new, maybe you could go take her to her locker and help her settle in?" The lady said smiling at Lea.

"It's not a problem ma'am. I can find my way." I quickly replied.

"Oh don't be silly, Hunter will take you. Go on." The lady said shooing them out the office.
