Welcome to this strange story! This was an experiment in writing, a story where I laid everything out like a D&D campaign and just let the characters roam around the mystery as they see fit. Because of that the plot and build-up isn't exactly the best, but it was incredibly fun to write.
Besides that, this story is... flawed. I've gone through edits enough that I'm am blind to most of the ones that happen in text. All of them except for the fundamental ones. This was a story that was meant to be a part of a series that never happened. My interests drifted elsewhere after I finished this story, and, while I know all the things that might happen in book two, I don't plan on continuing the series. There are a few story elements or things that go unexplained. I don't exactly have answers for all of them, but maybe I'll get a way to answer the questions if need be.
With that said, the reason why I am sharing this story is because I had a good time reading back through it while I was editing it. It was a fun story to go thorough. There are some goofy characters that make goofy parts where I can't help but laugh.
Will you feel the same way? Who knows! If it does, then you are welcome! I hope you enjoyed it. If you don't, then oh well! This story was fun for one of us anyway (that being me).
If I decide to, maybe I'll come back through and give this story a few edits. I still am an amateur writer. Hopefully editing this will make me better.
