How does one dress for a movie and dinner? Like am I going with a suit and tie? Casual? Semi formal? I was panicking and the only one who would help me was a bunch of children.
Idris was smirking at me as he pointed to a pink button up. "That's cute!"
"You are obsessed with pink." Harkin huffed and Idris shrugged swinging his little legs and Harkin only glared at the kid.
"It's cute." I put it on because it somehow brought out my eyes. Kalika had gone into my closet and brought out pajama pants and I chuckled.
"That's for sleep."
"Movies make me sleepy, atleast be prepared!"
"Thank you, but we can't sleep in public."
"Why?" She tilted her head.
"Because I'm not carry size." Idris snickered.
"You would break his back." For some reason Travis decided then to show up and upon hearing that had a horrified look at me.
What are you teaching children? My eyes went wide because that was not what this was.
"Uncle Travis, you pick uncle Trent up!" They all just started clapping and cheering for this. Being that Travis and I looked almost exactly the same, especially because he had also decided to grow a beard, I was atleast taller than him, I stared at him and then it dawned on him.
Sorry. He said sheepishly and I rolled my eyes before demanding he carry me.
He did and they were happy, although Kalika was sad not to see any broken backs.
"That child." Travis said as she left, Idris and Harkin stayed behind, Harkin staying at arm's length and Idris smirking and trying to push his boundaries. "Where are your pants?"
I held up the pajama pants Kalika had given me and he snickered. "At least he can take you home then." I widened my eyes and slapped his arm before he put me down, he cracked his back then and I laughed. "You're heavier dude."
I felt pride blossom in my chest. "I appreciate that, man." He went and got my pants and shoes and gave me an approving nod. This is why he always dressed me.
I looked in the mirror and combed my hair. "Now, you better be back by nine, young man." I looked at him and he snickered. "I've always wanted to say that."
"You have a son, you couldn't wait a few years?" Travis looked at his infant son who was eating his car keys.
"I'm pretty sure this one isn't going to know what a boy is until he's so old I have no heart to stop him."
"Eh. How do you just?" I was already getting in my car and he came over to the window as it rolled down.
"When you know, you know," he tapped his nose and I laughed shaking my head and hoping he proves him wrong, just for his comment hoping he sneaks out to eat pizza on a lamp post with his friends.
I was laughing to myself then and he scowled already knowing I wanted the opposite of his prediction.
There was no traffic thank goodness and when I had parked my car in the mall parking lot he was already there.
Adriel wore all black which made his my hair stick out, he had a silver chain hanging from his neck and studded earrings, he smiled when he saw me and waved, basically hoping on the spot as he flashed me his dimples.
"Am I late?" I had jogged over to him and he shook his head.
"I'm just early." He admitted and smiled looking down, he was wearing shoes that had really thick soles and had added to his height. He looked really good, like I wanted to take a picture of him and be like some of the teens in the pack obsessed with instagram.
