Episode 2

^Xia0's POV^

When I heard the clock ringing aggressively, I immediately woke up and threw it across my room.

I groaned and looked at the time.

6AM

I stand up and looked at my mirror. My hair was all messy and had a sleepy face. I quickly fixed my hair and walked into the bathroom.

After I brushed my teeth and other things to get ready for the day, I searched up for something casual since today will be my first day on doing my job working in a company.

My father suggested me to work on one so I did as his thank you for taking care of my life.

Since I'm early today I decided to walk there. I closed my eyes satisfied and wore my shoes.

When I locked my apartment, I plugged in my earphones and started admiring the trees and bushes around me.

When I have reached the big tall building I saw 2 bodyguard's guarding the fancy slide door. When I reached closer, the guard lifted his left hand for a card.

"I need to make sure your the new worker at this company first." I nodded silent and took out my card that the owner of this company sent it to me per mail.

The guard reached in for the card and observed it around it. When he finally finished, he gave me the card back and nodded.

"Your working on floor 4." He said without any emotions. I just walked in without an answer and pressed on the elevator button.

I watched it close and rise up and closed my eyes. When it stopped, there were more people than I expected.

All of them were busy on their computers typing fast as fuck. I nervously look around for the boss and spotted someone familiar.

The blonde hair that was wet in the storm.

I remembered our conversation. Then a sudden moment got me where he slowly unzipped his pants. I quickly shake my head out of it.

Bleurgh... what is he, a pervert?

I sighed and walked trough the big room to look for my boss. Then suddenly someone tapped on my shoulder lightly.

I jumped surprised and saw a tall male behind me. "Apologize, are you a new colleague here?" He flips his hair out of his way and smiled.

"O-Oh.. yes I am! I'm looking for my boss here." I said nervous.

"Oh, is that so? Follow me then to his office." He gave me a signal to follow him. Oh god, I acted like some shy dumbass right now.

When he lead me into my boss's office, he closed the door and took a seat. "Hello Xiao. It's a pleasure to have you here. I'm Zhongli.

"Your in a working company called Genshin Impact. Our job here is to invent a new object or other things like statues, new kinds of washers. Do you need anything here?"

I froze unexpected. "Oh uhh can you tell me where my working table is?" Zhongli nodded. "I'll take you there, no need to worry." He stood up and fixed his red tie.

He nodded polite and lead me to my desk. "You will be working here beside Aether. Aether, could you be kind and show him what you gotta do?" Mr. Zhongli said to the blonde braided male.

His name is Aether? Interesting, I'll keep that in mind. Wait.

"You're the male that got wet and knocked out while in the storm weren't you?!" Aether scratched his head nervously. "Sorry Sorry if I did. anything wrong! I really didn't mean to."
