Walking the corridors, Cassia minded her own business as she was going to meet Carla and Sam at the Black Lake. And when she reached the destination, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion when she didn't see her two best friends.
She instead saw a bunch of petals on the grass, and because she was curious, she went closer and stopped when she looked down and read the writing.
WILL YOU GO
OUT WITH ME?That was what was written in cassia flower petals.
Cassia looked around, wondering if it was for her, but she knew it was when Lyra appeared from behind a tree with her arms behind her back. She asked bashfully.
"So? Will you go out with me?"
Cassia smiled brightly and nodded her head, feeling extremely happy. She responded back softly.
"Absolutely. Of course I will go out with you, Lyra."
Lyra smiled back and let out a light laugh before jogging towards Cassia and bringing her into a hug as she muttered in relief.
"Oh, thank god. 'Cuz that was gonna be well awkward if you said no."
She let go of Cassia and waved her wand, making a blanket appear on the floor with wicket baskets full of food, plates and cutlery. Cassia chuckled and Lyra led her over to the blanket, they sat down and begun their little date.
Halfway through, Cassia asked curiously.
"So, the third task is tomorrow. What do you think it is?"
Lyra sat up and asked.
"Have you not seen the Quidditch Pitch?"
Cassia let out a "huh?" and Lyra added.
"The whole Quidditch Pitch has been replaced with a massive maze."
Cassia leant forward, her eyes widened and she declared.
"A maze? I have got to see this."
Lyra laughed and suggested.
"Let's finish up and then we can go look at it, it's gargantuan!"
Cassia eagerly nodded her head and they finished up the food. Lyra made everything dissappear with magic and she held Cassia's hand as they walked towards the Quidditch Pitch.
When they got there, Lyra glanced at Cassia's shocked face. Her mouth was dropped and her eyes were wide with bewilderment. She then spoke after some silence.
"What the actual fuck have they done to the precious Quidditch Pitch? When will it be back? This hurts to see."
Lyra snickered at her girlfriend's flabbergasted facial expression and smiled fondly. She then answered the question.
"The Quidditch Pitch will probably go back to normal once the 3rd task is over. Come on, let's go before curfew happens.
Cassia nodded, but was still staring at the maze, making Lyra pull her away as they quickly ran to the carriage for Lyra.
