Difficult Decisions

Chapter 11

Kayn woke up with the worst hangover, he groaned out in pain, his headache even worse. He opened his eyes too see a sleeping akali, he rubbed his eyes in confusion, wondering where he was, how he got here, and why akali was here. He remembered talking to this man named yasuo, and then took off somewhere. He sat there, trying to remember what happened when he was drunk. It all came back to him in pieces, wanting to see akali, traveling all the way back to zaun, screaming out her name waiting for her to come, hugging her, her dragging him to the inn, seeing her face for the first time without a mask, kissing her, he was red with embarrassment. 'You were quite the annoyance yesterday' rhaast grumbled out. "Rhaast why didn't you tell me to stop drinking!" He shouted out in embarrassment. He actually kissed akali, he's surprised she didn't kill him in his sleep. 'Hey I tried, don't blame me for your mess' rhaast laughed out. He looked over at the sleeping beauty, she looked peaceful. He felt bad for waking her up so early and for causing her so much trouble. He sighed out, calming his nerves, she can't be that mad. He got up from the bed and went into the bathroom, he took a nice warm shower to get rid of the booze smell and to help with his hangover.

Once he got out he dressed himself and exited the bathroom. Akali was still sound asleep, she must have been really tired. Kayn turned red by just looking at her, he enjoyed the kiss a lot. He walked over to her to wake her up, he nudged her gently as to not hurt her. Akali groaned and opened her eyes slightly, before widening by how close Kayn was to her. She backed away quickly, hitting her head against the wall. "Shit!" She cussed out, Kayn was shocked by her sudden movement. "Are you okay??" He asked concerned. "Yea I'm fine" akali groaned out, rubbing the sore part on her head. The two stood silent after that, not really knowing what to say. "So um, I guess I have to thank you for taking care of me" Kayn laughed awkwardly. "It wasn't a problem" akali replied shortly. Kayn leaned against the wall, trying to figure out how to apologize to her. "Akali, I'm sorry for everything I did yesterday" he said nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. "You remember?" Akali asked, blushing from embarrassment. Kayn nodded, also turning red, "I was drunk and you just looked so beautiful" he muttered out nervously. Akali looked away, her face burning red, "um, it's okay really" she replied. She was so grateful that her mask was on, so he couldn't see how red her face was. Kayns heart was beating so fast, he looked over at her, her eyebrows scrunched together while she looked away embarrassed. She looked gorgeous to him, he couldn't help but think about kissing her again.

He didn't know this feeling he had in his chest whenever he looked at her. Did he... like her? He wouldn't know, he's never felt this way before. Without thinking, he grabbed her hand, which felt so soft in his. It left tingles down his body, akali looked over at him confused and surprised. "Kayn?" She asked dumbfounded. Kayn stood closer to her, looking into her soft brown eyes, "akali.." he started. Akali kept looking back and forth between his eyes and his hand, not sure with what was going on. He wanted to tell her how he was currently feeling, even though he wasn't so sure what it was himself but he knew it was something. "I.. I care about you, and I know this is going to sound weird but I always want to be around you, when I touch you, I get this weird feeling through my chest but I know it's a good feeling" Kayn said nervously. "I think your the most beautiful person I've ever seen, you're on my mind everyday and it's driving me crazy, I don't know what to do" he finished. Akali looked at him with wide eyes, her heart was pounding in her chest and her mind was in a haze. "I- uh .." she stuttered out. Kayn placed a hand on her cheek, she was so soft. Her skin was like velvet. Akali mind was racing, she thought Kayn was extremely attractive, and she did want to know him more and cared about him but she's scared. She's scared that if she opens up her heart again she be left on the ground broken all over again. She was scared of history repeating itself. She was scared of being vulnerable, lonely, depressed, and weak again.

Kayn leaned in slowly, akali squeezed her eyes shut, she could hear her heart trying to burst out of her chest. Kayn planted a small kiss onto her forehead, she breathed out, and looked at him in shock. She didn't expect that. "Kayn.." she whispered out breathlessly, she cleared her throat and took a huge breath to calm herself. "I-I don't know, I'm not ready. I care about you but-" Kayn interrupted her by giving her a soft hug. "I know.. I know" he replied lowly. He rubbed her hair to help her calm down from the bomb he just dropped on her. Akali hesitantly hugged him back, she took deep breaths and once she was calm, she melted into his arms. Kayn held a small smile, "I know you're not ready kali, but I know I care about you a lot. I'll wait for you" he said softly. Hearing that made her heart flutter, she laid her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of being in his arms. She hasn't felt this much feeling for him until this very moment. He made her feel safe, which was something only one other man was able to do. She thought he was goofy, fun to be around, but he was also secretive, and would always leave at random times. "Kayn" she whispered out, he hummed in response, allowing her to continue. "I'm scared" she admitted, while hugging him tighter. This wasn't like her, but she felt very vulnerable at that moment. What he said to her opened up a bottle of feelings she didn't even know existed. Kayn kissed the side of her head, not breaking the embrace, "you don't have to be scared when you're with me" he said softly. Hearing that made Akali care for him even more, he knew exactly what to say. She backed away a bit so she was looking at him. His eyes held so much emotion in them that she could drown in it, without thinking, Akali removed her mask and kissed him.

They both closed their eyes and pulled each other closer. Kayn grabbed akalis hair and kissed her with so much passion, so much emotion, so much feeling it made akali weak. Kayn gently laid akali against the bed and continued kissing her, their tongues fighting for dominance. Akalis mind was clouded with lust, she was extremely attracted to Kayn and he was such an amazing kisser , she couldn't control herself. She moved her hands along his back, feeling his refined structure and muscles. Kayn started kissing her neck, nibbling on it every once in a while. Akali pulled him closer to her, the passion between them made this so much better. Akali let out a small moan once Kayn sucked on her neck, which excited the man even more, he looked up at her red face with hunger in his eyes. He wanted this so bad, and she wanted it just as much. Poor rhaast on the bed beside them had to endure everything and was cursing them both, to which Kayn ignored. "Give me one second" Kayn breathed out. He quickly grabbed rhaast and threw him into the closet before turning his attention back to the lustful beauty that was waiting for him on the bed. He quickly enveloped her into another kiss and trailed his hands on her back, feeling every curve. Kayn moved down to her stomach, and kissed every inch of it, which akali very much enjoyed. He noticed a huge scar on the bottom of her belly button when he was moving her pants a bit down. He never seen this before, he looked up at akali, watching as she was breathing hard from the pleasure she was feeling. "Akali, how did you get this scar?" He said softly, kissing the line of it. "I got it while fighting Zed" she breathed out, to busy enjoying herself. Kayn froze, she fought Zed? He did this to her? Akali noticed he stopped and looked down at him, noticing his face seemed distressed. "Kayn .. what's wrong?" She asked worried. She got up and had Kayn sit beside her, "Zed did that to you?" He asked sadly. "Yea, but I'm okay, you don't need to worry" she reassured, holding his face in her hands. He leaned into her hands, heat beaming off of them while the tension was still in the air. Kayn kissed her again, more passionate and loving then the rest. Without hesitating, he pushed her down against the bed again and continued what they started. "I want you akali" he whispered out huskily. She blushed red, whatever control she had left just went away once he said those words.

But before they could have this moment escalate into anything more, they heard a knock at the door. "Room service!" They shouted out. Kayn groaned out in annoyance, "go away!" He shouted back. Akali snapped back into reality and instantly covered herself. "Oh my god" she squeaked out. She felt so embarrassed being this exposed to Kayn, and they aren't even dating. Kayn noticed this and chuckled softly, "I'll turn around" he said smiling. Akali quickly put her shirt back on, along with her mask and fixed her hair. "You done?" He asked, to which akali said yes too. He turned around to see a very red, but vulnerable girl, you would never think she could be a ruthless assassin in this state. "I-I don't know what came over me, I'm so sorry" akali stuttered out. Kayn nodded, "no no you're fine, I enjoyed it" Kayn said smirking. His usual cocky attitude returning. Akali hit him on his head before turning around embarrassed. Kayn laughed, he feels a lot better knowing that akali knows how he feels. He was a nervous wreck earlier, which akali still seems to be. "You're a good kisser, it was hot" Kayn mused out, grinning at akalis attempt to cover her face from him. "I'm so embarrassed" she groaned out. "You know I never took you for the girl who likes to make out before the first date" Kayn teased. Akali couldn't take his remarks, she's never done something like that without being in a relationship. What if Kayn thought of her as easy? Her worries were starting to get to her, but she tried to remain as calm as she can. Kayn is driving her insane. "We have lots of time, speaking of that, let me take you somewhere tomorrow" Kayn asked. Akali looked up at him curiously, "it could be a date" Kayn smiled, akali smiled back at him and nodded. Kayn was happy about how this day turned out, and was equally excited for tomorrow.
