Akali woke up, she was laying by an old big tree that had just enough shade to keep her out of the sun. She had remembered that once she was far enough from Kayn, she collapsed into a heap of tears and eventually fell asleep here. She rubbed her eyes and stretched her body, she was sore from sleeping on the hard floor. She proceeded to get up and dust off her clothes from the dirt, she didn't know whether or not she looked presentable but at the moment she didn't care. All she wanted to do was be alone, at this point, akali doesn't even know if Kayn actually loved her. But for some reason, she couldn't find it in her to hate him, every being in her body wanted her to run back into his arms, forgive him for everything he's done and be with him. That feeling alone made her feel pathetic, She fell so hard for him. Akali felt tired, her eyes were still puffy from last night and she looked terrible, if anyone she knew seen her at this very moment they would be shocked.
She continued walking, village to village, doing nothing but sleeping in motels and inns. Weeks passed and she still felt numb to everything around her. She's heard news of Kayn searching for her, but she's determined not to get found. The mention of his name brings tears to her eyes and she doesn't even want to imagine what she would do if she seen him in person again. She wasn't ready to face everything yet, he's betrayed and lied to her in the biggest way possible. Akali stopped at a nearby bar, hoping to see someone familiar, particularly yasuo since he tends to visit them often. After entering the bar and seeing no yasuo, she decided to stay for a few drinks. She drank at least 3 shots , but she still didn't feel the buzz kicking in, so she took 2 more. But liquor usually kicks in later, so about 30 minutes in, Akali couldn't drink anymore, she was woozy and couldn't see straight. She was laughing randomly , making the bartender raise a brow. "Excuse me lady, I think you should head home before you pass out here" he suggested concerned. Akali turned to him slowly, her eyes couldn't focus on the man in front of her but she sloppily pulled out her dagger and pointed it at him. "Don't tell me what to do" she slurred out. She proceeded to stand up and try to climb over the bar, making people around her shout at her to stop.
"What's going on here?" She heard a voice say. "Talon! Thank god your here, this drunk lady is acting crazy" the bartender replied, motioning towards the wobbly akali. Akalis brows raised at the name, "talon?" She repeated, disgust laced in her voice. "Ah, akali, don't worry I got her. She's an old friend" he replied shortly, grabbing akali by the hand and dragging her out the bar. "Hey! Let go of me!" She stuttered out, she couldn't focus on anything and it was hard to tell what was going on. "Just let me take you somewhere safe" he muttered out. "No, I hate you, let me go" akali cried out, she had enough things on her plate already. He stood silent and continued pulling her until she fell onto the floor, he was walking to fast for the drunk girl and she tripped over herself. "Damn it akali, why the hell did you get this drunk" he shouted, akali laid on the ground, she felt the urge to throw up. Talon tried helping her up but akali grabbed her dagger again, "leave me alone" she muttered out. She felt her consciousness leaving her, but she urged herself to stay awake, she didn't want to be left alone and unaware of what could happen to her. Tears pricked her eyes, she missed kayn, she wanted him to be here now. "Kayn!" she tried shouting out, but he was nowhere near to save her. She then passed out on the floor, while Talon begrudgingly picked her up and carried her to a nearby inn.
Kayn was with a man named zack, who he knew from the order and was one of the men he was training. He had him helping him search for Akali , since she could honestly be anywhere. Zack headed to a nearby village to get some information, while Kayn searched the one he was currently in. After everything went down a few weeks ago, he had confronted Zed about what he did. All he said was that she'll come around eventually, which left Kayn frustrated. He hated waiting and he wanted to fix things now before it was too late. He hasn't seen Sona since that day either, he partially blamed her for her part in this too. He just hoped akali was okay, he's been worried about if she's safe or where her mind is currently at. 'You think you haven't found her yet because maybe she doesn't want to be found?' Rhaast groaned out. Kayns determination to find that assassin has prevented rhaast from taking over when things went to shit. He thought that was his chance to finally overpower him, but he would need something more drastic to happen to the girl. "Shut up rhaast, I don't need your negative commentary" Kayn replied. Rhaast proceeded to mock him, testing kayns patience. Kayn sighed, blocking rhaasts annoying voice out so he can focus on what's more important.
