It has been two days since everyone reached Hawaii. It was a sunny afternoon. Thora was reading a book, sitting on the couch and Zuriel was sleeping beside her.
Daisy was sitting at a table opposite Thora, Zayn with his two friends Jacob and Lauren cooking at the kitchen area. They were making chicken BBQ and some other snacks.

"Daisy..." Lauren called her in a low voice while holding a tray of chicken pieces with some french fries.

Daisy didn't answer back and she didn't look at him. She was just sitting there with a pale face. She seemed to be lost in her daze.
Thora was reading her book, being unbothered.

"Daisy?" Lauren called her ones again and this time slightly louder which disturbed Thora's peace.

"Fucking liar," Thora mumbled while glaring at her while she didn't reply him yet.

"Are you okay?" Daisy flinched back when she felt a touch from Lauren on her shoulder.
A frown appeared on Thora's emotionless face.

"What? What happened?" Daisy's voice came out as if she was scared of something, her eyes were clearly showing that she is nervous. Her hands were trembling as her lips quivered.

Thora sat up when she noticed a change in her behavior.
Thora gazed at her whole body and observed her actions. Daisy was behaving like an abused child. Just a touch of Lauren made her feel nervous and anxious. Thora felt something suspicious about her sudden change.

"Hey Daisy, Calm down." Lauren kept the tray on the table and sat beside Daisy. He saw her hands were trembling, he held her both hands. It was cold even if the day was feeling hot.

"What's happening to you?" Lauren was flabbergasted when he saw Daisy crying.

Daisy was biting her lips to stop sobbing but she failed and burst into tears when Lauren held her hands. Thora felt a lump in her throat, her heart clenched in the scene of seeing Daisy. Her behavior was odd yet she knew what makes an individual behave this way.

During Thora's childhood, Alexender abused her mentally, physically, and also emotionally.
Those days, she was acting this way, and she was craving affection and protection.

Lauren looked at Thora and nodded when he heard her say.
"Hug her." Thora didn't bother to look at them, she stood up and walked away.

Lauren's gaze fell on Daisy who was sobbing, he slowly hugged her while she burst into tears.

Meanwhile, Zayn and Jacob were in the kitchen, cooking the food for lunch. "Just confess!" Jacob hit Zayn's shoulder in a playfull mannar.

"I'm nervous about how she will act, what if she didn't accept?..." Zayn asked while leaning on the counter.

"Don't worry about the result, just go for it. That's the confidence! You know right that Thora likes confident guys." Jacob admitted while chewing another piece of chicken.

"Okay..." Zayn heaved a sigh of relief.

All of sudden, Thora appeared from nowhere and hugged Zayn, Zayn's eyes widen in shock.
"Done cooking, honey?"

"Oh yeah! Almost, what brings you here?" Zayn removed his gloves and wrapped his arms around her while Thora snuggled closer to him.

"um Zayn, I have to the nearby store." Jacob smiled nervously, looking at them. Both of them didn't pay attention to him and they continued what they were doing.

"Are you hungry?" Zayn pulled away and held her waist.

"Yes, I'm hungry... " Thora pouted, observing his facial features. Both of them completely forgot Jacob's existence.
