"Daisy is too stubborn, What are we going to do now?"
Clara ran her fingers through her hair and looked at Thora.

"I don't have any thoughts right now." Thora heaved a sigh.

"Everything seems like a mystery," Clara admitted while Thora nodded.

"When's the hearing?" Thora looked at Clara.

"In one hour," Clara checked her wristwatch before telling.

"Do you have a cigarette?" Thora asked while leaning on her car.

"I do but there is no lighter."
Clara said making Thora look at her in disbelief.

"Why would a smoker doesn't have a lighter?" Thora blankly stared at her.

"Just kidding, I will check."
Clara started checking her pockets and there was no lighter. She frowned looking at Thora while Thora just stared at her. Clara checked her coat but she didn't find it.

Her eyes suddenly widen in realization, "Fuck..." She cursed as she remembered her lighter falling off her pocket when she was fighting in Daisy's house.
"I lost the lighter in Daisy's house." She smacked her forehead.

"Incredible," Thora mumbled before getting into her car.

"Thora, let's go to Daisy's house."
Clara sat beside Thora's seat and put on her seat beat.

"It's just a lighter, get a new one."
She replied while starting the engine.

"It was gifted by my superior."
Clara pouted making Thora glare at her.

"You should have been taken care of it." She rolled her eyes.

Meanwhile, Zuriel was sitting near Daisy, who was crying. Lauren tried to comfort her by wiping her tears, "Don't cry, you are recovering." He said in a low voice.

"Dr.Smith, there is an emergency. Please come." A nurse rushed in and announced hurriedly.

"Where is Dr. Stephen?"
Lauren asked while being alarmed and stood up quickly.

"Dr. Stephen is in the operation room, there are no other surgeons available right now."
The nurse replied.

"Okay, I'm coming." Lauren was about to go but Daisy grabbed his hand, stopping his movements.

"Come back soon." Lauren smiled and nodded before kissing her hand.

When Lauren left, "Excuse me," Zuriel called the nurse. "Yes ma'am?" She responded.

"When will Mr.Jacob Stephen return?" She asked.

"The operation is two hours long, so I guess he will be back at 10 a.m." The nurse informed.

"Oh... Thank you," Zuriel said and the nurse left.

Zuriel looked at Daisy and sighed, "How are you feeling now?"

"Better." Daisy's came out weak and very fragile.

"Thora... She is not the way how you see her, She is a kind-hearted person, I was with her for seven years but in these years, I never saw her express her feelings like this. Thora had a cursed life and after finding Zayn, her life began to change and it got better. They both got back after years of war. It must be hard for her to leave him." Zuriel was speaking while Daisy was listening to her carefully, her eyes were fixed on the floor.

"Daisy..." Zuriel called her while stroking her head which gave Daisy motherly vibes from Zuriel.

"Do you know that Thora is the one who saved you?"
Daisy promptly looked at her when she heard her.
